P.S. I'm sorry for not keeping up with everyone else's pages. I'll try to get to them this weekend when I have some time. I miss reading your journals!

Why thank you ecks You're making me blush. I've still got quite a bit to learn about this truck. Since it's mine now, I want to do more of the work on it.

Yesterday was long! At work at 5 for a 10 hour day. I had just enough time to relax before we needed to get moving again. So, we met our soon to be new family member yesterday. It's finally hitting me that we're bringing home a dog and the house won't be the same after that. I've got a few things to take care of before we bring her home today. So, I'm up after a good 8 hours of sleep to get going.

I've got to take Gabi to the eye doctor today so we can get her some real glasses. I don't go to one because my eyesight is fine. Although my mom was convinced when I was younger that I didn't have the best sight. I think that was just another episode of I want my kid to be like me sort of thing. Meh, it happens, what can you do?

I didn't workout yesterday because my body said, not this early girlfriend. You need to sleep a little extra and be ready for the long day at work. Right now, my body is feeling out of sorts so I may start up the 21 Day challenge again and sort of get her back on path. I think with the recent stress and such, I've done a little damage. Hopefully having a walking companion will help

I think I'm going to fast as long as I can today before picking up any food and feeding myself. Since I've worked on the weekends the past few weeks, I've had a hard time with doing that. I was getting better with it, but I slacked a little. It's okay though, I'll just move on and take the next challenge

    Yesterday
    B: 6 pcs bacon
S: Breakfast burrito sans that tortilla shell (we didn't have a break at the normal time we do since we came in so early, so I was kind of hungry by the time it did finally roll around), 2 medjool dates, some fried pork skins, and some macadamia nuts
L: Leftover "breaded" fish and salad with homemade dressing
S: Oh, I forgot that Gabi's pancakes had sugar in them until I was almost finished with one. I just wanted some chocolate! Some more pork skins
D: Pulled pork and some carrots
S: Mint Chocolate Ice Cream Dibs (I know, bad Alessandra. I should have had more at dinner before going to the movies)

Oh yeah, we went to see "Brave" last night. Fun movie, go see it. Yes, it's Disney and Pixar, which means princess theme. However, since it's Pixar, she doesn't have to fall in love with anyone. Gabi and I went to see it with mom. Good times, funny stuff.

Ok, I'm just going to type what I've eaten. The past two days have been busy with out new family member, Roxy. I also don't remember exactly everything I ate yesterday. I tried to fast for as long as I could, but it didn't work out too well.

    Yesterday
B: Bacon, not sure how many pieces and some pork sausage
L: Chicken with melted cheese and guacamole
    S: Uhm, I forgot
D: Wendy's Berry Almond Chicken Salad with homemade dressing
Drinks: Water and Unsweetened iced tea
    Exercise: Walking the dog

    Today
B: 2 pcs bacon, 1 fried egg and some pork sausage
S: Kind Fruit and Nut bar, one little cookie thing, Banana and some Nutella (yes, I know I shouldn't have)
    L: Did I have lunch? I don't think I did
S: Oh, more sweets. Two of these little coconut macaroon things that i found at Natural Grocers and one Coconut Secret Bar
D: Pork tender loin, some german potato salad, and brussell sprouts. Mom made some homemade ice cream and I had some of that too.

Oh yeah, today, I sang with the worship choir that got to sing with the worship band at the main service. Two services. Wow, I didn't realize singing up there like that could drain a little energy out of you, especially when you're filled with the Spirit! Phew! Good stuff this morning.

Yes, indeed it is. I've sang with the choir at my old church, the Episcopal one I used to go to. This is different for me with the whole band thing.

Another long 10 hour day at work, but we made it through. Got a great dose of vitamin D today. Need a job that will give you plenty of outside work? Work on the flight line

So, I forgot how much I like having a dog around the house. She's passed out near my feet after a walk this evening. Gabi's chilling in my living room watching this American Ninja Warrior's. My little apt feels just a little more like home now. Not saying Gabi's not enough, just saying that having Roxy brings some extra energy to the place

We went to the Crossfit 806 gym today to check them out. I like them and Gabi's interest seemed to be engaged. So, next month we'll start a two week course to get us introduced. I'm excited!

Food wise, let's just say I remembered the reason why I don't bring home treats.... It's okay though, when tomorrow comes, I'll just start again

    Today
B: 4 pcs bacon, two fried eggs with some leeks
S: 1 avocado, some macadamia nuts, and 1 merry fruit macaroon
L: Can of salmon with sour cream, salt, and garlic mixed. Salad with homemade dressing
S: Ohh, I forgot, but now I Remember I went a little crazy on some pork rinds. Like 6 servings worth
S: Uhm 5 more of the merry fruit macaroons. Mental note to self, it's just the same as bringing home ice cream. Don't bring the treats home to space out during the week. It doesn't work.
    D: Fajita steak and asparagus.
Drinks: One cup sweetened tea. The rest was unsweetened tea and water

    Exercise:
PEM Push ups Squats Plank Calf Raises Supermans Pull ups Chin ups
    25 assist 50 1:32 30 20 2 3

Swam for about 10 minutes. Took dog for about 1 mile walk.
