Hope your talk with her went well. Kids will do their best to turn your hair grey early. With me, they succeeded...

I've already got some grey hairs, but my dirty blonde hair hides them pretty good Phew, what a day after work. Looooooooong talk with her. It's just kind of hard right now because she's so close to being a teen. I knew these days would come.

I didn't eat much today because I really wasn't hungry this morning. I didn't get hungry until we were getting ready to leave work. Did some sprints this morning to sort of run out my frustration.

    Today
    L: One small avocado
S: Two servings of pork rinds and some sour cream
D: Chicken Kiev done Primal style
Dessert: Yes, I had a dessert. It was this Coconut Macadamia thing that I came across in Market Street United while getting some limes for tomorrow nights dinner. I thought that the one little piece of it wasn't going to be enough, but I only bought one. It was pretty rich and I don't feel guilty about it, for now. Not obnoxiously sweet, but cutting it close. So, might not buy it again. Very chewy, so it took longer to eat
    Drinks: Water

    Exercise
    10x50 sprints this morning.

It's time to call it a night. G'night all!

For now. She's still grounded. Which in her case means no electronics during the day while I'm gone at work. We'll be ok. I need to find something for her to do during the summer. Something where people can pick her up and take her to do stuff.

Two things: A. That fajita marinade kicks butt in burger meat and B. I've got the blueberry "candies" from this page Paleo Snacks - Snack Recipes for the Primal Blueprint Diet | Mark's Daily Apple in the dehydrator and the seasoning mix for that is super yum!

Yesterday was a much better day as far as work and family were concerned. It wasn't too hot outside for the work we had to accomplish and we made things happen. I enjoy days like that at work!

The blueberry things are in the dehydrator. I had to rearrange them this morning when I got up, so I got some of the yummy cinnamon ginger seasoning on my hands. I think I now know what the other spice is in the fire ball. Man, that's pretty tasty.

As far as Gabi and I go, she still feels like she's in prison right now. I'm pretty certain I feed her better..... We did go for a walk up to the store and back. I managed to barefoot most of it, but because we were walking during rush hour, there were certain crossings that I wanted my flip flops for. Plus, I did need them once I got to the store. Gabi wasn't to happy about walking, but I wanted to. She was pretty quiet on the way out, but once she got her gluten-free cookie, she was a happy walker. Oh, I found another item that I might be able to have once in a while. It's some chocolate coconut bar thing that's sweetened with coconut nectar or whatever along those lines. Really rich, so one bar was more than enough. Those are for once in a while. I can't remember the name of it because I threw the wrapper out earlier when I was at the store. No soy!

Gabi helped to get dinner ready, which was really just burgers since I was too lazy to put together anything else. The burgers were filling enough, so I don't feel bad about it.

I haven't eaten as much over the past few days because I haven't been all that hungry and my stomach seemed to have a little something going on. Probably not going to eat too much today either.

    Yesterday
    S: Fried pork skin
    L: 1 small avocado
S: more fried pork skin with sour cream. Handful of cashews. Coconut chocolate bar thing
    D: 2 fajita burgers (that's what I'm calling them)
S: I call them a snack because I ate them after dinner. A few blueberries from the "candy" mix
    Drinks: Water

    Exercise:
PEM Push up's Squats Calf Raises Plank Pull up's Chin up's
    25 75 30 1:53 1 2
    25 75 30 1:33 .75 2

Today should be another good day at work.

You should look back at your food from the last couple days and see what's bugging your stomach. For all you know it could be that new coconut bar that you just picked up. seems to be the newest edition to your diet.

I thought about that, but my stomach was bothering me before the coconut bar thing. I think it started around Monday, but I ate regular food on Tuesday anyway. I wasn't sure if I could stomach not eating as much, but it turns out I can for a few days. Blew it today with some corn tortillas along with a steak ranchero. Went out to lunch with my coworkers for lunch today. Otherwise, I would have just had another avocado.

I think I might have overdone it with the food today. The blueberries still haven't dried completely, but I think it's because I'm new to the whole dehydrating thing. I've gone from 5 cups to 2 1/2 cups worth left eating them in the meantime. Those things are good!

I didn't work out this morning cause my body was just calling for some rest. I did get in a 3 mile walk to the bookstore and back. I ordered the next book for book club, "Flygirl" by Sherri L. Smith. I bought a book that I've been eyeing for a while now, "Everyday Paleo". I skimmed through the pages and I must say that these recipes are looking pretty delish! She's got some exercise stuff in the back of it as well. Mostly stuff that I already know how to do and some that I actually do from time to time.

    Today
    B: 3 pcs bacon
    S: Pistachios
L: Steak ranchero with some guacamole and yes I ate the corn tortilla chips with some salsa. Bad Alessandra
S: Some fried pork rinds and I'm thinking about 1 1/2 cups worth of the blueberry things.
D: Beef O'Brady's O'Brady burger, no bun, 2 pcs bacon, and some mayo and a few pickle chips
    Drinks: Water

Exercise: 3 mile roundtrip walk to the bookstore.

Walking is great exercise. It can absolutely be the backbone of a fitness and weight loss program. Or better worded, lifestyle.
