Busted at Frazzleberry's! Ah man. I did top the small amount with lots of berries.

Ok, so I have a bit of a sticker fettish at times when it comes to my truck. Only recently did I remove a few because they were essentially dead. However, I did come across this site Paleo Bumper Sticker | Paleo Stickers | Paleo Decals - CafePress Oh snap son! Like I need another sticker, but I think I might just purchase one. Only I'm going to try to get one that isn't obnoxious.

    Hello spambot!

Busy day today with lots of fun. First thing, I went barefooting this morning for about a mile. I didn't get all crazy with the free food thing at church this morning. Gabi actually sat through the regular service with my small group and managed to behave and not talk. Of course, she was sitting by her favorite person in my group, so that might have helped a little bit.

Yes, pool time happened today I'm getting better at maneuvering around the kids while trying to get some laps in.

My book club had their monthly meeting at Frazzleberry's. This location had a gluten-free, no fat (I'm not too worried about that part), no sugar added (I know they're using something in that one). I took a little bit then smothered it with berries. Towards the end, the berries tasted like berries and cream. Still bad, but I didn't go over board with it.

For Sunday night DiTommaso dinner, mom cooked up some chicken, old school style. Yeap, skin and all. I was in a little slice of heaven at this point. She also sauteed up some shallots and mushrooms in butter. YUM! I did have some mashed taters, but only a little bit. The chicken tasted almost just how she used to cook it when we were kids. I used to love eating the skin on the chicken when I was younger. I have vowed to go back to that because it's good for me. No more skinless chicken breasts! Oh, I did have what amounted to one gluten free shortbread cookie that mom's been making. I'm not gonna beat myself up over that because she makes those with an extremely small amount of sugar in them.

    Today
B: 2 fried eggs (yes, I did finally go get more bacon)
L: Microwave roasted, in butter, cashews and almonds. Leftover beef fajita mix
S: Sour Cream, like about 4 tbsps. I did that because I almost ate one of Gabi's snacks that we bought at the store. Then I remembered I had a spoon in my trucks cup holder and ate some of the sour cream that I had bought
D: Mom's cooking! Baked chicken leg and breast, skin on and bone in, sauteed mushrooms and shallots, and some mashed taters
Desserts: Frazzleberry's GF, LF, NSA, vanilla smothered with berries. One small shortbread cookie
    Drinks: Water

Exercise: 1 mile barefoot walk. Total, 30 minutes swimming.

I always loved the chicken skin too. It is something I have refused to give up. I do buy the skin-free breasts, but when there is skin on my chicken, I keep it. And eat it. Even when I was going relatively low-fat, I still ate them. It was my guilty indulgence. Now it's my virtuous one. LOL!

Sounds like you did really well. So funny, eating sour cream by the spoonful to avoid sugar cheating. How our worlds have changed!

Yeah, they haven changed. Although I shouldn't be so heavy on the dairy, it's good stuff when you find the right brand. Yum! I did some shopping around for fried pork skins at another grocery store before heading home. I think I've found a brand I like, but I'm going to check out Natural Grocers and see if they have anything as well. We have a local chain who has three different versions of their store and one is more on the Mexican side. I figured they would have more options and I was right! How do I know I like this one? One, it only had fried pork skin and salt listed and Two, I ate almost the whole bag! They also have a better selection of organ meats.

Oh! I ate the whole bag, lol. Dang those things were GOOD! I've got another bag with some pretty big pork skins in them.

Soooooo bored today at work. I don't mind change, but I'm not exactly a huge fan of it when it slows me down. Being behind and it being hot outside today made me a sleepy worker. I almost wanted to hide somewhere and take a nap. As much as I wanted to jump in the pool today and swim, my body wasn't having any of that. The spirit is willing, the flesh is weak. So true with me today.

Ok, I'm a little hard headed when it comes to any kind of sports/workout related injury or what not. I don't stop and rest, I just keep pushing through. Did that this morning during sprints and for the second time ever in my life, my left quad started to hurt. My pride made me do all six sprints because I couldn't except backing down. My body said, "Hey, thanks alot ya dang mutapunk degenerate, that hurts!" By the end of the workday, it didn't hurt as much. I'm sure this is why my body wasn't having any of the swimming thing. So, I went for a walk, barefoot and all, instead. Still a little bit of pain, but it's bearable at this point. Tomorrow is PEM day, so I'll give my legs a break in the morning. Sort of.

    Today
    B: 4 pcs bacon, 2 fried eggs
S: Microwave roasted macadamia's in butter and one small avocado
L: Leftover fajita meat and veggies, salad with homemade dressing
S: 1 whole bag of fried pork skin and a few tablespoons of sour cream (the stuff I have is good, but I need to lay off a little)
D: Oh yeah! I crinkle cut the zucchini tonight. AHA! My food slicer didn't get the better of me either! Put those in the oven and roasted them. Cooked up some pork and bacon sausage in the cast iron. Threw in the sliced onions first and sauteed in butter, then added the cut up sausage. Tossed in the last bit of my Sherry and about a cup of water and let that reduce down. SO GOOD!
Drinks: Water and Peppermint tea sweetened with honey

    Exercise
6x50 sprints with push ups at one end and spiderman's at the other. 30 total of those two.
Walked barefoot for about 1.25 miles.

I'm worn out tonight. So ready for bed. G'night all!

Uhu, and they ship to Belgium too! But I've been spending too much online lately (just bought Vibram's, I'm trendy, nobody knows them here in Belgium ). I want to buy a dehydrator now, so the T-shirts will have to wait .

*sigh* My kid, I love her dearly, but she did something really stupid and lied to me about it. I didn't yell at her, but she's in a lot of trouble. No electronics, cause that's what gets her the most. She's grounded and all sorts of other stuff. Luckily for her, by the time I found out what had happened and took her upstairs to our apartment, I was soaking wet from the pool and had to change. That gave me time to take a breather and calm down. I'm just disappointed right now. Work's been driving me crazy because all these changes we're going through. I just have to remember that God never puts me through anything I can't handle with His help. Phew! This disappointment thing is for the birds!

Got up and did PEM this morning. Work was crazy stupid today, but it's getting better. I missed group tonight because I really needed to have a talk with Gabi about her bad decision. Not the best day today.

    Today
    B: 5 pcs bacon, 2 fried eggs
S: Microwave roasted nuts in butter and some pork rinds
L: 2 leftover chicken drumsticks and salad with homemade dressing.
S: Trying the other pork rinds, the big ones. A few scoops of sour cream and some mascarpone cheese
D: Scallop piccata and steamed broccoli
S: Uhm, more pork rinds while I was talking to my s-i-l and sister on the phone about what happened.
    Drinks: Water

    Exercise
PEM Push ups Squats Plank Pull up Chin Ups
    25 75 1:43 .5 3
    25 75 1:33 1 Didn't do any on the last set.

I'm worn out, physically and mentally right now. I really hope tomorrow is much better.
