I shall do so! Man, I slept like a log last night. Did some crosswords before falling asleep and then it was lights out. Granted, removing some other issue in my life probably helped the sleep, I think the swimming wore me down. Sort of like letting a little kid run around in circles until they just pass out.

Ok, so I just learned something about myself today. While I'm getting past the actual sugar cravings, I cannot be trusted with a pint of ice cream in my hands. Especially after donating blood and this was their little gift to us. I wasn't actually craving any sugar, but I thought I'd have a few spoonfuls and be done. Maybe if I had had Gabi in the truck with me I could have just tossed it over to her and she could have finished it off. I ate the whole freaking pint!

Yum. I haven't done that in so long. Was it yummy? My favourite ice cream is Ben and Jerry's. So good but oh so bad at the same time! I'm sure it hasn't helped your resolve to minimise sugar but don't worry on it too much, tomorrow is a new day for a new start.
Went Primal on 1st April 2012

    Since beginning Primal:
    - The stomach cramps I'd been having have vanished.
    - People comment that my skin is glowing.
    - I enjoy getting out of bed (most of the time)
    - I'm so excited by food.

Yes, and thank goodness for another day! Somehow, eating that pint didn't do too much damage yesterday, especially as far as weight is concerned. It might be that I resolved not to eat a full meal after doing that. Instead, I just roasted up some cashews and almonds in butter last night. Maybe getting some two stepping done last night helped too! No, I didn't have any alcohol either. I know better than to have anything to drink after donating blood.

Gabi spent the night at her friends house again last night, so after a nap and a little snack I decided to catch some live music and dance. Aside from the pint of ice cream binge yesterday, I did pretty good on foods and stuff. Oh yeah, ecks, I did my sprint training barefoot yesterday. It woke me up a little more cause the ground was slightly wet and cold in the morning

    Yesterday
    B: 5 pcs bacon
S: 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 regular size avocado, and 4 slices liverwurst
L: Salad of cubed ham, sliced roasted chicken, and spinach leaves, and some macadamia nuts
S: One pint Blue Bell ice cream Mint Chocolate Chip
D(if you can call it that) Microwave roasted cashews and almonds in butter

    Exercise
    Sprints: 8x50 yards. Dancing!

Yeah, when I fall off the wagon, I try to compensate too, so it doesn't always have terrible effects weight-wise. I also figure if I mess up occasionally, it's not the end of the world. Occasionally being the key word. If I'm messing up regularly, then there are issues to be addressed. It is so nice not to be striving for perfection. It takes so much pressure off.

Okay, so I volunteered to cook up some fajita meat along with bell peppers and onions for tonight's End of School Fiesta. I found this link on the recipe section and thought I'd share it. I added 1 tsp each of garlic and onion powder and some olive oil. I don't know how much oil I used cause I didn't measure that out The recipe tasted good before I threw in the meat, so I recommend it.

Oh yeah, roasted the cumin seeds then ground them up in my coffee grinder. I used my small non-stick skillet for this. Turned up the heat to about medium and poured some cumin seeds in, just enough to do one layer. Then you let them heat up until you get the aroma of the seeds cooking. A few might pop or flip. They're done at that point. Grind in the coffee grinder. Be careful not to stand too close if you aren't used to the aroma, it's a bit strong, but worth it!

I learned that little trick from Cooking Light magazine. They usually have some good recipes that can be altered to meet our needs. I need to go through some of them and use some of those recipes again. I might just post links and then give some ideas.

Judg, I am a little bit harder on myself than I need to be at times. I've let go of the ice cream thing today. I almost bought some dark chocolate today, but I decided against it. Mom is making some gluten-free red velvet brownies for tonight's party. I'm going to try to eat as much protein and fat as my belly will handle and see if I can maybe have a few bites.

We all tend to be harder on ourselves than we need to be.

Okay, I love cumin and I love coffee. But aren't you afraid your coffee will taste like cumin for a while? Those are not two flavours that I care to blend.

I don't drink coffee Problem solved. However, I am one of those weird people who might not be bothered by the mixed flavor. I'm sure a little cinnamon would cure that taste

Good morning! Up early in an attempt to make it to church early enough to help out with today's free food thing at the Youth Cafe. This should be fun. I'm thinking a little barefoot walking and some sprint runs might be in order for the morning.

I made it last night and only had one brownie. I filled myself up to the point where I just had enough room for one. Don't get me wrong, they were absolutely delicious and mom is getting better at the gluten free recipes.

I had a good time swimming, even if the pool was a little crowded. I managed to find a way to work around all that and get some laps in. I even managed a PEM before picking up my kid

    Yesterday
    B: 2 fried eggs (I'm out of bacon )
S/L: Microwave roasted cashews and almonds in butter
    S: Scoop of mascarpone cheese
D: Taco meat, sour cream, guacamole, fajita meat (the marinade is freaking AWESOME), green and red bell peppers, and onions
Dessert: 1 of mom's delicious red velvet brownies!
    Drinks: Water

    Exercise: Swimming, total 30 minutes.
PEM Push ups Squats Plank Pull ups Chin Ups
    25 75 1:19 .75 2
    25 75 1:23 1 3

Yeap, I actually managed to drop weight, so I'll be updating my signature. Yay!
