You know Judg, it's all gravy! I thank those who did before and after I received a letter in the mail today that I was excited to see. I didn't think it would ever come, but it did. It's just one more burden lifted right now, with the possibility of another being taken care of soon. While I know I dug myself into this hole, I'm working my way out of it with the right equipment Today at work was productive and that also lent to my happiness. Plus, I came to find out that there are those who are looking out for me with the issue from yesterday. Thank goodness for people who have your back with stuff. I'm really blessed and sometimes I completely forget that.
I had one minor slip up and it's sort of a strange one for me. For the most part, I'm not a soda drinker. It's a rare occasion that you'll even see me with one in my hand. So, today I had two sips of Gabi's coke. I did crave some chocolate this evening. I was even thinking about it while I was driving Gabi to her friends house so she could stay there for the night. If we had gone to her parents house, there's a store right around the corner that has the 95%. Then we ended up taking her to the girl's grandmother's house. There's a store close to there, but I don't know what they have, yet. Hopefully I keep it that way. Goodness, I've become a fiend! I'd say this is definitely an addiction. I did manage to reason my way out of it for the night, but I almost reasoned myself back in. I know the dark chocolate is supposed to be ok, but it's still a gateway right now. Must control myself! My thought had been, well I can have it as a treat. Then I realized what that treat would do. Oh, there was a small battle, but I reasoned that I just needed some fat and maybe some coconut milk (unsweetened) when I got home. We'll see what happens tomorrow morning. It's my Friday morning run to the store before work. I think I can handle this.
Tomorrow, after work, I'm going to get the stuff I need for the fast. I'm planning on doing some dancing tomorrow night too since Gabi will be gone for two nights in a row.
B: 5 pcs bacon, some sauteed veggies (I think I'm going to stay away from the store ones because I'm sure they're using vegetable oils)
S: Mixed nuts and one small avocado
L: Mix of roasted chicken, sliced, and cubed ham with some tomatoes
S: Roasted (in the microwave) almonds in goat milk butter
D: Blue Sky burger, no bun, with 2 pcs bacon (phew, no more of theirs, it's salty!) and a side salad with some greek vinegrette. I'm sure there was sugar in there somewhere.
S: Well, I'm still kind of hungry for some reason, so I'm having more roasted almonds in goat milk butter
Drinks: Water, two sips of coke, and some coconut milk
