I noticed a recipe for pizza crust on MDA. Somebody in the comments said they made it into bread sticks. It's grain-free (coconut flour and flax meal). You might want to look into it to give you a nice substitute. I'm planning on trying it.

Thank you Judg for the suggestion! Phew! What a night Gabi and I had a blast at the charity dinner. I got to actually teach her how to two step while we listened to The Lost Trailers. No, they didn't play any of their old stuff while we were still there Oh well, she had a blast! She says her legs hurt now, lol. Poor kid, wait till I teach her how to waltz!

So, it turns out that I didn't need the almond crackers, but those things are so good that I eat them anyway. Dinner was prime rib! Yeah, I said prime rib. Let me say that again PRIME RIB! Coor Cowboy Cooks hosted the dinner tonight. I thought my eyes were deceiving me at first and maybe they were just overly thick slices of brisket until I got closer. Best thing ever! I would like to thank my work for getting our table tonight I did split a baked potato with Gabi, of which I ate about half of that. They had salad and dressings. I know my dressing probably had some sugar in it. I asked them to load me up with some tomatoes, but I got like 5. Oh well, can't be too much of a punk!

    Yesterday:
B: 3 egg omelette with sauteed spinach and shitake mushrooms
S: Mixed berries and macadamia nuts
L: Leftover chicken piccata and some roasted carrots. Salad with homemade dressing.
D: Fried halibut with coconut flour mixture (I've got to find something better because this falls apart too easily) and some oven baked potatoes
    S: Marzipan...........thewholelog........ 4 pcs 85% Lindt

Drinks: Coconut milk, water, and some wine last night to watch the kick ass sunset from my front porch

    Workout: Yoga Flex

    Today:
B: 2 pcs bacon and some sauteed spinach
S: Mixed berries, macadamia nuts, and 6 pcs 85% Lindt (I think it might be time to move onto the darker stuff)
L: leftover fish and some salad with homemade dressing
S: Almond crackers, not sure how many though. Couple of handfuls of goldfish and some seasame sticks.
D: PRIME FREAKING RIB! Half of half a baked potato. Salad with dressing

Drinks: Water and some red wine. Only about 6 sips worth.

Exercise: 10 Min Trainer Cardio, 5 mins of the Ab workout, and TWO STEPPING! Worked up a sweat tonight Man do I LOVE to dance!

Yesterday turned out to be fun too I skipped out on working out because I kind of wanted a day off. I was kind of worried I might not be awake enough at work because of it, but that all turned out ok. I had a busy and productive day at work. The fun was after work though. I celebrated a friends 30 birthday with her and a group of friends. We went to a sushi bar and I thought I was going to try some sushi, but I ended up getting the Korean short ribs and mashed ginger sweet potatoes. Both were good along with some ginger peach tea, unsweetened. I know there was soy in the short ribs, but I hardly every eat anything with soy. Good food last night! Now to find a way to make those without the soy We went to a comedy show last night and had a blast! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.... Afterwards, I was sort of still awake and wanted to burn some energy off, so I went out to catch some live music via Aaron Watson and his band. I did have a beer, but only one this time. I think I have found a new musician to be in love with, the fiddler from the band. AMAZING! I danced like maybe twice last night and made some new aquaintances. Since I don't have beach volleyball to meet new people with, two stepping is the next best thing,

B: 3 slices bacon, sauteed peppers and onions, some brisket
S: Mixed berries and mixture of walnuts and pecans
L: Big ass salad! Homemade dressing
S: 4 almond crackers and some goat milk butter (that stuff is slowly but surely growing on me). Handful of walnuts with goat milk butter melted and a pinch of salt. Some parm cheese, just straight, with nothing else
D: Korean short ribs, mashed ginger sweet potatoes

Drinks: Water, coconut milk, bud light lime, wine (had some of this at home before bed)

Today, I think I'm going to IF for as long as I can. My stomach has been acting up, so I'm giving it a break for most of the day. I don't plan on doing a whole lot. Just going to go down to the local dirt airfield for their open house to get some pictures of their planes and maybe stay for the flour bombing thing this time. I wonder how many will hit the target I'll post pictures later. Later, I get to take Gabi shopping for a formal dress for her friends 13th birthday/going away party. This is going to be fun.... I hope all of you have a good day!

At last you can take solace in the idea that there is still very little that's manufactured in sushi.

Well, I skipped out on a workout today too, but it's been a day today. Gabi was at her friends house for most of the day, so I had some cave time. I managed to IF for about 17 hours today before cooking up some bacon and enjoying the last little bit of parm cheese block in the fridge.

I went to the open house this morning and actually got to stay for the flour bombing runs! Usually if I take Mom and Gabi, they get bored after a while. This time I got to hang out with some coworkers who showed up and enjoyed their company. Sigh, I loved being around planes, even if I don't know what all of them are. No, I'm not one of those cool people that can tell you every single bird out there, but I do know my helicopters for the Army, lol The little kids that were watching were so fun because I remember what it was like to go to air shows as a kid and just be amazed by all the fighter jets. I wanted to fly them when I was a little girl! While I didn't get to fly any jets, I still like working on my helo's.

Crud, I found out the hard way today that getting splinters out of one's foot is a bit of a pain in the rear! I can usually get the ones out of my hand within minutes. I got that bad boy, but not without some serious effort, determination, and patience. I put my skeletoes on after that. I barefoot it later when I'm certain my ped isn't sore anymore.

    Food:
No breakfast, waited till about almost 2 to eat
L: 3 pcs bacon, last little nib of parm cheese block
D: Grilled steak! Hmmmm, so gooood. Let it sit in the fridge with sea salt, pepper, and garlic powder for a few hours. Wrapped some broccoli up in aluminum foil (next time I need to use the heavy duty stuff, cause the recycled stuff got a little burnt on the inside) and let that cook on the grill along with some red and green bell peppers

    Drinks: Water

How are the skeletos? I do like the 4 toe setup (partially because I tried five fingers and couldn't do the pinky toe). They look nice though a bit of a thick soul from what I've read. I've got a pair of NB minimalist shoes with vibram souls (collaboration shoe) and love them. Though I do prefer straight up barefoot if it ever gets warm enough around here to walk outside without shoes.

The skeletoes aren't too bad. The only problem I have is that they stink up easily. I don't have this problem with any other shoe, but then again I'm wearing socks with my other shoes. So, that could be part of the problem. I use foot powder and it still doesn't help.

Speaking of help. The next time I decide to go to a mexican joint for lunch, I'm bringing my almond crackers with me. Overlad on the corn tortilla's. The sauce was great, should have stayed away. Ok, I asked my friend if the fried avocado's were breaded on the outside. No answer, even after asking like 5 times. So, I found out the hard way. From now on, I'm just going to take fried as meaning breaded. The inside was delicious, but I could have done without the other stuff. I fasted this morning, but I should have been better prepared for lunch.
