I bet you get some strange looks from that one! I love it.
I've seen about six posts here in the last day asking "what happened? I feel like crap and I don't know what I'm doing wrong!" Then we get a sample menu and the fat is always missing. It's getting so predictable that I'm thinking I might start taking side bets on the response when a sample menu is requested.
People, fat (saturated as well as monounsaturated) is absolutely essential to doing the Primal diet correctly. You must eat fat. You must eat lots of fat. If you're hungry, fat should be your first and best go-to food. When I get the shakes, if I'm in a restaurant and there's nothing handy while I wait for my food, I will request butter and eat it by itself to up my fats.
EAT THE FAT.
Primal eating in a nutshell: If you are hungry, eat Primal food until you are satisfied (not stuffed). Then stop. Wait until you're hungry again. Repeat.

It's grandma, but you can call me sir.
It is such a strange concept for newbies like me... But apparently it works as I have noticed throughout this week!
What if you can't look at fat anymore and you feel like you're gonna be sick and yet you're hungry?...
And how the hell do you get enough fat anyways?! What do you have to eat/ do?
I drink coconut milk. Its delicious and lighter than eating. Plus u get tons of fat from it.

I can't find non-crap coconut milk. :/ I'm doomed.
Yes fat is our fuel. You need tons and tons of it to replace carbohydrates. Mainly animal fat. Coconut and olive oil have a place in my diet but without animal flesh we are lost. Make sure to avoid lean meats like the plague. No protein without lots of saturated fat (fish is the exception. Make sure to have coconut or butter with your fish). You wouldn`t want your cholesterol levels to get too low!
mwahaha.
Stabbing conventional wisdom in its face.
