So, obviously, we'e Catholic! This is the second Friday of Lent and I'd like to hear what others have for meatless meal ideas (fish ok)!

Funny, this time last year, Lent Fridays meant Papa Johns or spaghetti...

We had eggs (of course) for breakfast. Veggie stir fry with almonds for lunch and I've pulled out some Mahi Mahi for dinner.

Not really in the mood for the usual Fish Tacos sans shell.....anybody got any Mahi Mahi recipe ideas?

Mahi Mahi is excellent when baked with some homemade mango salsa (mango, onion, tomato, and cilantro)

"are fish tacos shaped like a fish?"

For me good fish is alike a good steak, just grill or pan fry it.

It's grandma, but you can call me sir.

I did a curried fish soup last friday and homemade fishsticks(w/usually do this w/ almond flour on Ash Wednesday). No idea what we are doing this week- lunches are usually tuna salad w/ homemade mayo or salmon patties(no grain in these- just eggs and veggies).

I've been fasting the daylight hours on Fridays for Lent (did a full 36 hour fast on Ash Wednesday, too. Planning a fast from Good Friday to Easter Sunday). My sundown meals have been smoked trout on a salad.
