bought some of them purple sweet potatos a few days ago and they are moldy
Happened upon an asian market the other day and bought 2 kinds of the japanese sweet potatoes the kind with the white outside/purple inside and the purple outside/light inside. I had one of the purple outside ones the other day and it was delicious but now both kinds have some mold on them. Are they still good? can i just cut that off before baking them? I really want to try the purple inside ones tomorrow but the mold has me second guessing whether i should just chuck them.

I would try cutting out the moldy spots. But if it's in the majority of the potato, just toss it. I've eaten moldy spots in sweet potatoes before and they are disgusting.
