    I use it as a thickener like in stews and sauces.

    As Zophie said, use it anywhere you would use corn starch.

    As Zophie said, use it anywhere you would use corn starch.
    So glad I stumbled across this! I have been trying to figure out how to make gravy and stews that aren't watery! Thank you.

    Arrowroot is also useful with fruit and berry sauces, since it will thicken without clouding - no need to add further sugar for a thicker appearance.
