Making grass-fed butter...tips?
I have a liter of grass-fed whole cream that needs to be made into butter. I better get it done today or it might go bad. I usually make butter with fresh cream, use the electric mixer, and so on. Messy! And takes a bit of time. I don't have any time today, though. I could just throw it in my blendtec, right?
Anyone done this?
The cream has been sitting in the back of the fridge (unopened). How long would you think this would be good for?
I started making it w a stick blender and never looked back. Just takes a few minutes.
Older cream will still make fab butter.

You can get one for about $10 and probably more like $2 at a thrift store. Cheapest and most used appliance in my kitchen.
