that would work. low and slow for a brisket
Hi all from a lurker
I picked up a 3 lb brisket from Trader Joe's yesterday...I'd love to have it for dinner tonight, but I wondered the best way to cook it. I usually do pot roasts with grass fed chuck roast in my Nesco Roaster about 275-300 degrees for 3 or 4 hours with herbs, celery, garlic, beef broth, sometimes tomatoes, mushrooms, and maybe a parsnip...but wondering if that same cooking method would be good with the brisket.
TIA![]()

low & slow indeed, and make sure that the fat cap is on top when you cook it! a crucial step.
We make this recipe regularly and is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just omit the sugar if you're worried about it.
