Long-time lurker of these forums... Just wanted to let you guys of a site I've been working on for the last year... It's called SlimKicker.com and I think it's something that might be helpful for people doing Paleo, especially those who are new to it.
The site basically turns your diet/fitness goals into a level-up game, where you get points, and level up for eating healthy(more points for whole foods such as veggies, fruits, healthy fats), exercising, as well as participating in challenges. We took some of the most important health habits and turned them into 7-30 days challenges. Level 1 challenges include easy things like giving up soda for 7 days, SimpleFit level 1, and then gradually move on to harder ones like giving up grains, then eating whole foods for 30 days, etc. We also do giveaway challenges once a week, where one participant wins something.
I know some of it is probably easy for you Paleo experts... but we just wanted to make something that would help the vast majority of people who are still into SAD and help ease them into making healthy changes, one level and step at a time. For these people, it's unrealistic to expect them to go 100% Paleo from day 1, so we thought, why not turn it into a game, where they can make small changes and gradually make harder ones as they "level up".
