I didn't eat much red meat from the 80s to about the mid 2000s and have my own personal theory that I may have experienced more personal victimization as a result of it. Of course that was partly due to health problems but I think my overall energy was not as stable or firm in a lot of ways and that I set myself up over and over again to fail personally, socially and even professionally. Going meat free (ie veganism) has been so popular the last 20+ years or so and it shows no signs of wavering and I just can't help but wonder if there are others who have had experiences like mine. I think it is a real disservice that most people don't know they are probably shooting themselves in the foot by not eating meat.
