This does look damn good! I can see it working and will give it a go. I've been disappointed with flax meal bread attempts, but a quick raise with eggs, good call! Maybe breakfast tomorrow?

Yup. Got part of my ear sliced off shortly after 9a yesterday. It went aces. When I got home, I wanted solid food right away and feel like I'm bouncing back way better than my last operation (pre-primal)
Just a little drowsy today. Doc did nice job on compression bandage. It's pretty rounded up there. I'm feeling optimistic I might have a normal ear this time.
but, ah, IT ITCHES!

Yay! May you recover very quickly. Away with pain and with itching! That made me think of something comforting I'd like if I were recovering! I'll try to make it tomorrow and post the recipe for you if it works. Hint: it will be chocolatey. Chocolate makes everything better![]()

This must be one of those "meta-recipes," as I didn't have what was necessary and screwed around with amounts and such, and they are still yummy (might not be as yummy as the original--which I will try soon).
6 eggs, 6T sour cream, pinch salt, 6T raisins, scant 2t cinnamon, 1 1/2 t baking powder, 8T oat bran (I'm not good at keeping a "clean" house). Don't ask me how I kept them from sticking. But I wasn't willing to sacrifice my muffin pan.
Thanks for sharing--I'll try the actual recipe next week. For now, I have breakfast and a couple snacks for the rest of this week.
