    As per Marcadav:
    Do 30-60 days clean primal.
    No grains, sugar, alcohol.
Eat 3 meals and primal snacks.
    Don't track food.
    Don't tweak.
Don't expect issues to go away quickly. Instead, just follow the plan and see how things play out.
Decide on an exercise plan you can/will do consistently during the 30-60 days and then do it.

Sorry you've been in pain. I hope the meds are helping at least.

Ok, so the strained muscles turned into a hernia, yay...NOT! My chiro said the good news is that it will heal. The bad news is: it can take a very long time . I have to get a ct scan on Tuesday. My doctor is talking about infiltrations, but I'll talk to my chiro first, I trust him more. Doc put me on illness leave for 1 week to start with. My chiro gave me some advise on how to get rest for my back. I sure hope it gets better by the end of november, because i'll be spending a week in Hungary with DH then! And next saturday I have the appointment for my tattoo, I've been so looking forward to that! It's on my ankle, so I hope I can go! If not I'll have to wait another 6 months . Oh well, as long as the damn back heals.
I'm off anti-inflammatory meds, because my stomach doesn't like them to say the least, and chiro says they don't do any good anyway. He says inflammation is the body trying to heal itself, but these meds won't let the body do it's work, so it takes longer. I'm really happy with my iPad right now, as I'm spending a lot of time lying on the ground right now . I feel so helpless, but luckily my darling husband and kids help me out where they can, they even have to help me get my trousers and socks on...

oh ouchy! thank goodness it will heal and you're not facing surgery to fix it. Follow the doctors orders so you'll heal faster. Maybe you could do some research on healing herbs and spices....... Ayurveda - Ayurvedic - What is Ayurveda? ????? couldn't hurt while you're lying on the floor

Thanks for the link, Tomi! I'm going to do some investigating. Read that turmeric is very good, so I'm trying to add that into my spice mixtures

Hey Cany, so sorry to hear you are going through such a tough time! Really hope you heal soon! And I agree that often the chiro has better ideas on the healing process than the docs. Hope to hear how you are doing soon!
