Hi CJ, happy to see you again!
I made nutbars with the leftover egg whites and took them, and big part of the red velvet cake I made last week to CrossFit yesterday. Now I have people who can test my bakery stuff. Both were finished in a matter of minutes and approved by everyone!
So we're going to visit the newborn baby this afternoon, I've been looking forward to it all week! After that we'll be having dinner at my parents' house, my dad is making pizza. I've put some shrimp in a nice marinade and will grill those for myself, no pizza for me. It's so easy not having it, because I know what pain it would cause and I'm sure NOT missing the pain (or meds)!!!

We didn't get to visit the baby. The new mama is a bit overwhelmed and baby is crying a lot, having cramps. I referred them to a good osteopath (as from what I've heard it sounds like KISS syndrome) and hope they have a happy baby soon!
The weather really sucks! It's raining again, I'm wearing my winter clothes again. I sure wish we get some nice weather this summer! Last year the weather was all mixed up too: spring was like winter, summer was like autumn and in autumn we got summer, then winter was like autumn again. We've had lots of rain already this year.
I made a change to my eating habits, as it looks like IFing until noon isn't really doing anything for my weight loss. So I started eating breakfast again, and I'm making sure I include carbs, protein and fat in every meal. Yesterday I had lox and strawberries for breakfast, today was Italian raw ham and strawberries.
I'm also limiting my coffee intake again, I'm having a cup at breakfast and one at lunch. Tea and water the rest of the day.
Although I'm not loosing weight it seems my belly is getting flatter, I can only hope that I'm building muscles and that's why my weight isn't coming down much?

Hey, if your shape is changing for the better, something good is happening, right?
And for the record, this Canadian thinks that if the temperature is above freezing, and there is no snow, it doesn't even come close to qualifying for winter.
Curious, why are you cutting coffee? Not that I drink a lot myself, although in summer I add iced coffee because it's one of the few drinks that I can handle with stevia. When it's too hot for tea, I head for iced coffee. My normal pattern is coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon, and herb teas or decaf in the evening, one cup of each (although the teas are made in very big cups). I can't drink iced tea because the citrus bothers me and now I am avoiding sugar like the plague too, so iced coffee it is. And ice water too, of course. A lot of that today, they're forecasting 31C, with the humidity (this is a muggy town) making it feel like 38C! We don't have air conditioning, so we're planning a movie or a shopping centre expedition to escape the heat.

Send some C° over here, were having 17°C today(and it's raining again!). Ugh, this weather is just depressing, so lucky I'm mostly in a good mood lately
.
I'm cutting the coffee because I was drinking too much of it lately, I have an (italian) espresso machine (put in water and coffee beans, out comes a cup of heaven) and it was just too easy to drink coffee all day. So I'm cutting back a bit, because although I don't think coffee is all that bad for me, too much of anything isn't good either
. My youngest son loves the smell of coffee, he's been asking me lately if he can make my coffee, and while the coffee is pouring in the cup he puts his nose almost in my cup, so he can smell the fresh coffee. That's my boy

LOL! Yes, you're right, too much of anything is not good. I really love my coffee (I have several coffee makers, including the espresso/cappuccino machine) but strangely enough, I don't feel any urges to have too much. When I was in my late teens I would drink 10 cups a day and I started getting headaches, so I cut back then and never went back to more than one or two cups a day. And I understand your son. Even people who don't like drinking coffee often love the smell.

That's me. Oh, what a delicious smell! Too bad it comes with that taste.
End of the Summer Challenge at our CrossFit tonight! I lost 1,5 kg in 1,5 month; -2,5% of bodyfat, lost lots of cm everywhere on my body (so it wasn't just my imagination). We also did the same WOD as when we started, christine (run 400m, 12 deadlifts with 25 kg, 21 boxjumps, all this times 3) and I did it in 1'20" less time. I'm damn proud of myself!
