    Oh... and I have to find a picture of me in uniform but I have no idea where I'd find one. Brady wants to take it to school for show and tell on Monday.

    He said "Mom, we have someone special in our family".
    I said "we do?" not having any clue what he was referring to.
    He said "Yes. You were a soldier."
    I said "Yes I was."
    He said "Monday is Veteran's Day. We celebrate special people on Monday."
    I said "Yes we do."
    He said "Do you have a picture of when you were a soldier? I want to share it on Monday."

    Tears. He's so awesome.

    Awwwww what a sweetie. Do you have a photo taken of you from when you joined? Hulky had a portrait taken in uniform during basic or right after basic. He looks so little in it =P

    I do but it's a terrible picture. We weren't allowed to smile in it and I look terrified, even though I was DONE and not terrified.

    I want to find a more recent pic so I'm scouring my Photobucket account and posted a note to my mom and stepmom. I know my stepmom took lots of pics of me in uniform over the years so hopefully she'll have one I can print.

    Jenn...in the calculator thing you gave the link for, it asks for protein %'s, fat & carb %'s...what did you use for those? I have no clue. I went back & tried to find if Mark had a guideline but couldn't find anything. Only thing I found was a recommendation on the amount of carbs in grams to stay within. I'm sure it's somewhere but can't put my eyes on it. Any one else can answer too of course. Thanks

    It doesn't matter for the sake of the calculations, but generally you want protein and fat to be higher than carbs. You can pick your own percentages. When I did mine, I said 40/40/20.
