Another sucky job moment... everyone left to go do something... Of course, the secure "super squirrel secrets" hard drive is in the computer. It must be supervised at all times - cannot be left unattended for risk of security leaks... so I get to babysit the computer to make sure no terrorist or traitors access it... sounds important, but it's really not... it's a low-man job... it equates with manning the phones.

Yeah... it's official. I don't like my job. It's a job and I'll keep it as long as I have to, but eh... I have entirely too much college to be a computer babysitter...

Decided to take advantage of the empty office and turned on my iPod. Blasted Marilyn Manson's version of "Sweet Dreams" (LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT VERSION!!). Then a song called "Pain" by Three Days Grace came on and now I want to run... Like really really really want to run. I listened to this song all the time when I was half marathon training and it makes me want to run every. single. time. I hear it... *sad panda can't run today* *pout*

Congrats to you and Brady! Give him a hug for me!
As to the job: been there, done that, gave away the tshirt. Start hunting and suffer through this one until you can bail.

Good job, Brady! And are you also doing gluten-free, now that you discovered the chicken nuggets were...less than compliant?

Yeah. I thought we were gluten free since Sunday, but no... he had the chicken nuggets once this week. Not sure which day - I don't remember at this point. Might have been Tuesday. He's been pretty mellow and "normal" this week. It'll be interesting to see what next week brings.

I think Brad is buying that food affects behavior. He's analyzing everything and realizing that there's dairy on just about everything. Of course, this doesn't mean he can't EVER have dairy again - it just means that, if he reacts to it, then we'll have to realize that bad behavior will likely follow. Or maybe he won't exhibit bad behavior if it's not a constant thing in his diet... who knows. Time will tell.

But it's weird to me that it's Friday and I still have 3 gallons of milk in my fridge... Brad and Kenna better drink up! When Brady was drinking milk, we'd go through 4 gallons a week - we're on our second gallon for this week... But then again, Brad was on 2nd too, so that might have had a little bit to do with it too.

Anyhow, gotta get some dishes done and get the kids ready for bed. Then I'm getting some pictures out.

That is really too bad about your job. Definitely start applying elsewhere.

DS is an administrative assistant too. Apparently he is good at it, but he doesn't like it. So he is doing his degree in translation, because that is something he likes. One more semester to go. He is perfectly bilingual to begin with, and has always loved translating, so the course work isn't exactly difficult for him. And they have a chronic shortage of translators in the government. (Perhaps if they used aptitude tests instead of requiring a degree, they would have better results. DS is constantly correcting the work of the official translators in place.)

So glad to hear things are going better for Brady and that Brad is becoming more conscious of the issues involved with food.
