I get mine at Walgreens. I think Walmart carries it too, as well as CVS.

OMG. I'm only going to say this once b/c if I say it twice it's likely to bite me in the ass... the new guy in our office.. HAWT! He's what I get to stare at every day. HAWT HAWT HAWT! Primal Freaking Eye Candy!! I'd like to say that if I could get a pic, I would, but that would cause me to revisit this, and I said I was only going to say it once...

    He is gorgeous!!

    Ok. I'm done.

Found my missing thread!!! I'd started writing it, then walked away, then came back here in a different window so I couldn't find it... hehehe I'm silly. Here it is:

OMG this has got to stop!! I feel so bloated and all I have done for two days is YAWN! I'm tired of yawning! I don't yawn when I eat well!

I have very few groceries at home, but I will get some this weekend (probably tomorrow). I will be getting the usual stuff, but I will also find some Primal snacks to enjoy instead of the sugar loaded gluten-free stuff I've been eating all week.

My pants don't fit, I feel out of breath, and I just.keep.yawning! It's got to end.

I will be tracking for the next two weeks. No sugar! AT ALL! Starting Sunday (birthday party Saturday). I'll be up against some strong obstacles - Halloween primarily. But I have a plan for the Halloween candy. I think the dentist in our town used to buy Halloween candy from the kids after they collected it. If he still does, I will allow the kids to pick 5 pieces out to keep. The rest will be "sold" to the dentist (who probably eats it himself) and they can buy a cool toy with the money they earn. That is my plan. I hope it works.

Anyhow, either way, back on track 100% Sunday.

Starting Sunday - Whole30 rules, with the exception of butter. I will not give up my Kerrygold. And I will not spend $4.99 on a block of butter to melt it down and turn it into ghee... I can't bring myself to ruin the creamy, yummy goodness of the KG...

BUT, I will cut out cheese, milk, etc.

I had planned on making "Mess" for breakfast for next week (hashbrowns, eggs, ham, green peppers, onions, etc, all mixed together and topped with cheese) but if I do W30 rules, I shouldn't be having hashbrowns. *sad panda*

I plan to do this til Thanksgiving, which is about 3 weeks. I think our first Thanksgiving dinner, which will have the treats I want to indulge in, will be the 17th. I will be able avoid the desserts and whatnot at the other Thanksgiving dinners, of which I think there will be two, with no problems.

I feel like utter crap. I am bloated. My size 13 Arizonas are tight. I feel uncomfortable. I'm yawning non-stop. I'm eating sugary item after sugary item. I'm developing zits on my face, on my back and between my boobs. My scalp itches to beat hell. My face is getting flakey. It's time to clean it up and get my pretty skin back. It's time to end the fatigue. It's time to fit into these jeans again (and possibly shrink out of them). It is TIME!

I'll follow 80/20 primal until Sunday morning. Then Whole30 rules plus KG. I will also be tracking my foods so I can monitor my macro percentages. I will aim for 70% fat. I think higher fat will help with the sugar cravings. I will continue my supplements as usual.

Ugh, I'm thinking of all the breakfast foods I won't be able to have b/c of W30 rules... that's dumb. I need to move on.

I am ready to get back to 184. That is my goal. Get back to 184. This 188 shit sucks.

I hear you Jenn! I have had a few bad weeks and gained back 5 pounds after working so darn hard to get below 190!! Now I am back up at 192.5lbs! GRRR! And I can only blame myself!! Sounds like you have a good plan going there - I really don't think KG is going to mess things up at all. (I love the stuff too!) I am doing a leptin reset at the moment to try and kick the carbs again and get the fat burning into high gear! I have a LOT of fat to lose yet - no time to waste!

Not sure if you saw the post on your fb, but I did find a gluten free cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soup. The manufacturer is Pacific Natural Foods and I got it at my local Kroger in the gluten free/organic area.

That's interesting. Not something I would have considered. Thanks.

So far, so good. I did a little bit of crappy maple "tasting" syrup with my breakfast. We went to a pancake breakfast that a local fire department was hosting to raise money. They had pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, juice and milk. I had two sausage links that I dipped in DH's syrup... Otherwise, all I ate was eggs and sausage. I know that neither items were 100% paleo. I would imagine there was some preservatives in the sausage. I know the eggs were "real" b/c my stepmom was the one to crack them all.

Brady got a hold of some gluten yesterday. When we went to the birthday party, despite having our own pizza, he decided to take a bite of the Pizza Hut pizza that they'd picked up. I made him spit it out but I'm sure he was still "contaminated". His aunt also got him some bubble gum, and there's a white powder on the gum. The ingredients list doesn't say what it is, so it's probably flour. I watched a "How it's Made" episode the other day that showed companies powdering conveyor belts and products that could get sticky with flour. There's nothing in the ingredients to indicate what the white substance is so it's probably stupid freaking flour. Which means my 2 week study is trashed. AGAIN. How the hell am I supposed to know if gluten is the effing problem if shit keeps getting jacked up. So it looks like we'll be starting over again.

There's a birthday at his school this week so maybe we'll wait to start over after that's over. Then we should have no problem making it to Thanksgiving without any gluten in his system. However, I have a sneaky suspicion that the real culprit is dairy... which will be MUCH harder to eliminate from his diet. *sigh* This is so freaking hard. It's so much easier to control my diet and impossible to control all the aspects of his diet... I should just have him tested so that I have an actual reason for changing his diet, but I'm afraid it would come back negative.

with so many outside influences its really tough for you too keep things under control. The thing with testing is that they don't have a test for gluton sensitivity - only full on celiac. Not sure about skin test though - maybe they would show something. I hope you can get it figured out - it is to Brady's benefit to know what is causing the issues.

Keep at it - you'll get there. Might take some real tenacity though!

Why don't you try your "Mess" just leaving the hash browns out? Or adding a little riced cauliflower?

I did a lot of minor cheating while I was away, too. It's so nice to be home again and have a lot of good choices available.
