Sabine, I have to admit I saw you had posted and wondered what you would have to say after standing up for me the other day.

I think his pissiness last week was directly related to not taking antidepressant anymore. He said last night he's noticed his fuse is shorter (you mean it can GET shorter???) and that he's working on recognizing that and controlling his temper better, which he didn't have to do as much when he was stabilized by the drugs. IDK. I think it'll be interesting... both of us off meds... lol

But I do like that he's thinking more about his weight and his health simply because of what I'm doing. I can't wait to see how far he takes it!

The pics are 8 months, but the progress only took 6 months once I found Primal. I only lost 4 lbs between Jan 1 and March 5, when I switched to Primal. I credit all the progress to Primal.

Even though I can find no reason to indicate why, neither my alarm nor Brad's went off this morning. The time was set properly, the alarm time was set properly and both alarms were turned on... neither decided to go off, depsite going off yesterday with the exact same settings... Luckily, I got up in time to get everything done that I needed to do and get out the door on time without having to rush (actually got up 6 minutes earlier than usual).

My husband is sick. He has no PTO left and no sick days... today will be an unpaid day of leave. And possibly will land him in behavior modification, which he fought so hard to avoid when things got jacked up the last time he was sick (remember they told him he had time, but he didn't, and then they caught it and said "welcome to b-mod"? so he had to fight his case to show it wasn't his fault b/c he told his supervisor he didn't have time but his supervisor said he did and told him to recode his time sheet?). This means no opportunities to apply for jobs or any additional unscheduled time off of work for 6 months...He'll get vacation again in January, at which time he'll be able to schedule time off, but who can schedule sick time ahead of when it's needed? So he's got to be at work every day for the next 4 months... If he misses another day of work (sick days) before then, they can fire him. Chances are, if he has vacation time and gets sick before his 6 months are up, his supervisor will cover for him and allow him to code it as scheduled time off, but still... 4 months with the cold and flu season coming up... Come on, Paleo! Do your magic. Make him healthy so he doesn't have to go to work sick in the next 4 months. (Today he's got a bad gut infection of some sort... can't get far from the bathroom).

I walked into work today to find an email from my boss chewing my ass b/c he doesn't know what hotel he was supposed to be staying in, so at 1:42 this morning, he was still trying to find a hotel, even though I put a note in his travel folder telling him what hotel, what days, with the address and phone number... Turns out that the hotel screwed up and gave his room away (which I just found out about like 10 seconds ago). It's totally NOT my fault, but I got my ass chewed and it left a mark. I'm certain he'll apologize, but I feel like he jumped the gun in accusing me of not making the reservations and leaving him stranded.

Then I got another email indicating to me that I was wrong to schedule an appointment with a couple of soldier who want to discuss a decision he made regarding an exit award for a soldier that is retiring... I guess, unbeknownst to me, this award is a touchy subject and he doesn't feel he needs to justify downgrading it from whatever was recommended to whatever he approved... well, excuse me for not knowing this when this office is so fully of freaking secrets they're spewing out the windows!!! I can't make a judgement call on whether or not someone should be given time on your damn calendar if I don't KNOW that you don't want to meet with them... and if I ask you whether you want to meet with someone EVERY SINGLE TIME they want time on your calendar, you'll think I can't make a decision on my own. It's a lose/lose situation, really.

So, now I feel like he doesn't trust me, which affects my loyalty and dedication, ya know? Not to mention my confidence in my ability to do my job... Apparently I just can't get anything right today...

Couple that with a lot of school work to get done for tonight and my day is pretty much shit. I wish I could afford to be a stay at home mom... *sigh*
