Seriously...
I have a friend who died this year from cervical cancer... NO one promotes that.
I was wondering at the time ... what if we started wearing big teal ribbons pinned to our crotches? (Kind of like the tata slogans painted across tight fitting t-shirts)
Would THAT be too much?

The long and short of it is that "save the boobies" is socially acceptable because women and men both love breasts, and our culture put them up on a pedestal and makes them a requirement of femininity.
What about those women who have to sacrifice their breasts... how fun are all those "boobie" slogans then.
Happy fun times my ass. Save the breasts my ass. They can take mine if it means a better chance of remission.

Meh, prostate cancer happens at a higher rate than breast cancer and receives a fraction of the funding.
