    Beef heart for pemmican?

    So I'm planning on making some pemmican... Can I use beef heart jerky? It would save a hell of a lot of money (about 3$ per pound...).
    In all of the universe there is only one person with your exact charateristics. Just like there is only one person with everybody else's characteristics. Effectively, your uniqueness makes you pretty average.

    Don't see why not. I just bought and cooked some beef heart and it's a lot like regular meat. It's a little different though in taste and texture. Not as fibrous and a stronger taste.

    Yes, I think beef heart would be pretty much ideal. It's probably the leanest muscle meat you can get from a cow.
