I eat a Lb of chicken livers about every other week.
In between weeks I usually have a Lb of mixed chicken hearts and gizzards.
This week I have a Lb of chicken livers and a Lb of beef heart.
I like offal.
I simply cannot IMAGINE 1/4 lb of liver being a problem. However, YMMV of course.

I've heard you should not eat more than a couple servings of liver a week because of its high vitamin A content, which can lead to vitamin A toxicity.
I eat a pound about every 7-10 days. Feel a lot better and my libido is up...
Also, I like telling people people at the gym I'm gonna go home and down some liver. Oh the looks I get![]()

IMO it would be down right difficult to eat your way to Vitamin A toxicity (as opposed to overdosing on supplement pills).
If you are a healthy adult, who is NOT deficient in Vitamin D (Vitamin A toxicity has been shown to be linked to D3 deficiency), a few servings of liver per week aren't going to lead to problems. You'd have to be eating several servings per day, every day, for weeks if not months in order for that situation to happen. Or swilling Cod Liver Oil like it was water.
I mostly eat chicken livers... a bit lower in A than beef... I could basically eat a single serving of them every day without worrying.

I love me some offals too. I found beef heart (believe it or not) more palatable, for me.
I eat a pound of grassfed beef liver or free-range chivken liver a week. I'm also probably at least twice your weight, so that probably has an effect on it too lol
I can't get into it. I can mix really small amounts into meals though. I stick to kidney.
I struggle with liver, I eat it occasionally but do not really enjoy it. Paté is the only way I can enjoy it so I guess i'm gonna have to make up a huge batch of that instead.
Do what you love and do it often. If you don't like something, change it. if you don't like your job, quit. If you don't have enough time, stop watching tv. If you are looking for the love of your life, stop, they will be waiting for you when you start doing the things you love. Stop over analyzing, life is simple. When you eat, appreciate every last bite. Some opportunities only come once, seize them.
