I bought a small tub of cocoa powder from whole foods and now after trying it I realize how long it is going to last me.

I've been sprinkling a VERY small amount on my scrambled eggs and topping it with berries.

Please share your favorite uses for cocoa powder so I can get rid of this stuff.

    Thanks

I'll admit that I still sin with whey protein powder. My recipe these days is

    Whey protein

    Coconut milk

    Shredded coconut

    100% cocoa powder

    Flax or chia seeds

    Raw eggs

    Cinnamon

Pureed fruit or a sweetener like xylitol or stevia (more sinning!)

Anyway that's what I do with it. I bet it would work well with coconut milk on its own, as I really like the bitter taste as long as there is something else along with it.

Stabbing conventional wisdom in its face.

My wife makes almond flour brownies and uses cocoa powder in it, as well as in milk shakes, for chocolate milk, and fruit smoothies.

Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me."--Ferris Bueller, 1986

    Coconut oil bark is fantastic!

    1/2 cup CO

    1/4 cup cocoa powder

    splash of vanilla

2 tbsp honey, or maple syrup or poison of your choice

(This leaves it slightly bitter for me, but taste as you go as you may need less.)

Stir in 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (I like toasted hazelnuts)

Pour into small container and chill until firm. Cut and enjoy!!!

The more I see the less I know for sure.

@lil_earthmomm- I just made the CO bark. Its deliciously lethal. It banished my chocolate cravings. Ive had to store it in the cupboard until I pass my fatloss plateau

mmm..instead of CO, I used the coconut oil-ghee recipe on mda (which tasted & smelled like caramel). Thanks for the recipe!

I make coconut bark without stevia OR honey. It's good, try it! Not sweet at all, but good. I mix two parts of coconut oil with one part of cocoa powder by weight.

    Height: 5'4" (1.62 m)
    Starting weight (09/2009): 200 lb (90.6 kg)
No longer overweight (08/2010): 145 lb (65.6 kg)
    Current weight (01/2012): 127 lb (57.5 kg)
