No, not bad at all. The medium-chain triglycerides will be used for energy and have a very low propensity for getting turned to fat. That's just their nature.

Just make sure not to forgo nutrient-dense food for coconut products. Coconut doesn't have any micronutrients so make sure to still be getting your meats and veggies.

O ok good to hear. Yeah normally on non-workout days I am ok and I eat lots of veggies and meat but when i walk to the gym and workout(45 mins) then walk back, i end up burning 700-800 calories (according to my HR monitor). No way I could stomach 800 cals of more meat and veggies. Never had this problem w/ CW, who would of knew that i would have a hard time eating more! amazing!

700-800 in a workout? Whoa! In that case a whole can of coconut milk is the absolute perfect thing to have afterwards.

Here. This is an excellent read (if you ignore the hints that there is something wrong with long-chain saturated fats. They are correct regarding coconut nonetheless). http://marty.dragondoor.com/2010/02/...the-lipid.html

A whole can? I don't know how you could stand the consistency of it. :P

Oooh, making it ice cream. That's a good idea. Will have to try that out soon.

Although we all know calories don't matter, I'll still add this: HR monitors and other electronic whozawhatzes are notoriously unreliable in showing actual calories spent. (i.e. what you see on the screen can be 30, 40 or 60 percent higher than reality). I'd use those readouts with extreme caution, especially if I was going to forcibly adjust my eating habits as a result of them.

My. 06 <-- that's my two cents according to my treadmill.
