I happened upon MDA while looking for a substitute for my Payday addiction, I found a recipe that was Ok, but more important I got the bigger message. anyway I made my own great nut bar that I love. My version isn't purely Primal, but it fits my plan and goals which are to control my blood sugar.

1 3/4 C Splenda, or "some" honey
1/2 C Milk
1/2 C (stick) Butter
1/4 C Coco Powder
1/2 C Nut Butter
3 C total of any combination of nuts, seeds, coconut, and Dried Berries
I like to use toasted almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, coconut, and cranberries
optional dash or so of Pumpkin Pie Spice, or something like it
Bring first four ingredients to a boil over Medium High heat and boil for 90 seconds (don't go too far away)
mix in nut butter, vanilla, and spice, until incorporated
mix in nut mix.

You can press the mix into a baking dish and chill and cut into bars, which can be tricky getting out, or make into balls. which ever you like.
