As my heading suggests I have had problems. I first tried to give up drinking in 1989, with some success and some failures.
I am 54 yrs old 6 2" and weighed 228lbs at Christmas. I now weigh 210lbs. I have high cholesterol 6.8 on uk scale, should be under 5.
I have had chronic cardio addiction as well as addictions to codeine and booze.
I am currently clean and sober and not running due to cartilage injury.
My fighting weight should be around 175 lbs, but who knows?
I found MDA a few months ago and have read and soaked up info from the website. I have the primal blue print and Gary Taubes, Why we get fat.
I love this diet lifestyle. I ate mackerel and boiled eggs for breakfast and skipped lunch and felt great.
Dinner was salmon and large stir fry veggies.
Shooting to lose 16lbs in the next 2 months.

Ok been walkabout again!
Start weight today is 216lbs
Posted above to make sure I am typing in correct box.
Jogged for 30 mins. A few weights. Took it easy after lay off.
Walked to shops this morning and bought some fresh vegetables and meat.
This afternoon I finished a painting.
B bacon and eggs in coconut oil
L pak choi spring onions prawn dumpling in misidentified soup. 3 small sausages
D grass fed minced steak, baked squash, peas, bacon, tomatoes, olive oil
S yoghurt mixed berries, caseine shake.
1768 cals. Carbs 62g fat 74g protein 170g
I will try and up fats maybe have goats cheese later if hungry.
Painted for 3 hours and finished drawing.
Jogged and sprinted for 37 mins. Burning 500 cals. Did 1 400 meter sprint and hit 175 heart rate and lived to tell the tale.
Press ups. Plank and some dumbbell weights.
B avocado, cottage cheese and walnuts
L large salad with chicken, red pepper, spring onions, tomatoes.
D leftover mince steak. 1/2 baked potato. Cauliflower carrot courgette garlic stir fry.
