Yes! I got my two divided oval servers from our local supermarket. I keep hoping they will do it again. And friends of my honey's family gave us a server that THEY had been given for THEIR wedding. I got some from a neighbor's estate sale. And my son has found a few pieces for us at the thrift store where he goes to school. I love the different ways our china has come to us, and I am really hoping one or more of my kids will want it when they are older.

That'll be fun to go down to the antique store when it opens today. Take it you're taking your car, or will it be a part of lifting heavy things if you get it? :-)

'Your Speak. The universe is listening' post resonated with me today. I found myself talking out loud to myself this morning and I feel better for hashing out my problem and plan of action out loud. I rarely do that, but it has made me feel better.

I love that you found those willow pieces and that your mini weight goal came true. I had to curb an impulse to run to the kitchen and look at my mother's royal doulton plates and state how I could really use more since a few got broken and chipped last year.

Hmmm...

Howdy! Yes, I've finally caught up! I should start a journal, I know, but so many things are holding me back. It's a commitment of time, honesty, privacy, oh all sorts of things which kind of make me shrink from it. But I've learned so much, I know I should start one and pay it forward. Doesn't help that so many of you are thoughtful, clever, funny people - you all seem richly coloured while I still feel I'm painted in shades of gray.

Hi Sabine, confession time - I'm not all caught up with your journal. I read the first few pages and the last 10 or so. I want to catch the middle on a slow work day but thought I'd pop in now.
So, you did a 3 day fast?! That's awesome! I did just a 16 hr fast yesterday but I would like to try for longer. Thanks for the inspiration!

I am a firm believer in "The Secret" & the law of attraction! It works...I've seen it, not only in my life but in others!

yay!!!!!!!!!!! 182 & Blue Willow pieces coming to you!!! See???? Another validation that it works!! Visualization works! I did it when we wanted to go work in St. Croix. Honey "really" wasn't all that qualified to go in the position that they wanted him to do, but man did I put it out to the universe that we wanted to go!! I visualized beaches...the water...palm trees...a tropical house...the plane trip over...whatever I could think of. I looked up pictures on line...& then honey came home one day & said we were going! wow!!! Whatever you want tho has to be truly from your heart & you have to believe that it will happen. Sounds silly but I love to look at the models in the Victoria Secret catalogs & the Fredricks of Hollywood catalogs. I actually used to look very similar to them in my young skinny days, altho tall & willowy & all legs I'm not. But I was built. I visualize myself looking like that again. So it will happen. I know it will, in time.

Sabine, I'm so happy for you. I remember once I was sitting on my back deck thinking that I had never seen a hummingbird in real life. And right then a tiny rocket came hurtling over the roof of my neighbour's garage and came to sip at the oleander flowers right beside me. I was awestruck. God answered a prayer I hadn't even prayed yet. Such a tiny thing, but I never forgot it!
