    ways to eat more eggs

    I hate eggs. I get a major gag reflex when I try. I have found that if I add almond butter(sometimes peanut) and fruit to them and fry them like pancakes I really like them. any other ways to help them go down better?

    Use them as ingredients if it's the nutrition you're looking for. Coconut flour muffins use a lot of eggs and you can change the flavor by what you add in. Hard boil them and finely chop them over salad. Make a frittata and add so much other stuff (peppers, mushrooms, onions, asparagus, zucchini, cheese, etc.) that the egg is only used as a binder.

    Try mixing some vegetables in with them. I like sauteed peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, etc.

    The more you add to them, the less you taste them...add all of your favorite veggies and some garlic. (ps, top with Frank's Red Hot and enjoy!)

    My boyfriend doesn't like eggs, hates eggs, because at one hotel we were at, he got really really sick from eating them and had to go to the ER. He doesn't even sit around me if I'm eating fried eggs, that's how bad he hates them. I guess he has trauma, you could say.

    But he will eat eggs like this:

    Make an omelet so stuffed with other things that there is a very small amount of egg compared to everything else.
    There should be barely any egg in each bite you take.

    Pancakes: 1 super ripe banana mashed well, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 egg, a pinch of baking soda, a squeeze of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons tapioca starch. Fry at low-medium heat so they cook evenly.

    Egg drop soup or chicken+egg porridge. When making the chicken porridge, I add lots of eggs at the end of cooking as if it were egg drop soup. It comes out really creamy (like baby food... boyfriend likes baby food...)

    He'll also eat scrambled eggs and chorizo, because HE KNOWS WHAT'S GOOD FOR HIM. IT'S A SIN NOT TO LIKE scrambled eggs and chorizo!

    Keep egg whites in tupperware. When you make stir fries, use the egg white as a thickener (as in mo-shu pork)
    Basically, when your stir-fry is almost done, throw the egg whites in the middle of the pan, throw the stir-fry over the egg whites, and keep stir-frying briskly and you won't even be able to tell there are eggs there. It gives a flavor that you can't quite tell what it is. Really good.

    Hollandaise!! mmmmm

    Make a breakfast mess and hide the eggs in there (cook sausage/bacon, fry up hashbrowns, sprinkle on the meat, crack eggs onto hashbrowns, cover and cook until whites set, cover with cheese)

    Put a fried egg on a hamburger patty and cover with hollandaise- it's a fat bomb, but delicious.

    And I second and third Frank's plus lots of butter

    thanks, I will try a few of these. I want to eat more eggs, because they are a cheep source of protein, and on my budget I don't want to go off of the wagon because I'm broke. I don't want to lose any weight as I loose fat, because I'm under weight as it is.

    is it one o or two?

    I loved eggs when I was little, then I guess I had a bad experience or something because I hated them for decades. I've started eating them again since going primal. They're still not my favorite, but they're better with a few slices of bacon and plenty of hot sauce. (But then, what isn't?)

    Try cheese and herbs. Also, soft cook to keep the yolk runny.
