    Raw Milk Versus Kefir

Is Kefir as good as or better than raw milk? Seems like if what we want from dairy are all the floating probiotics, kefir would be just as good and more available.

Unless it's raw kefir, which I'm not sure even exists!

I say try both and see what your body tells you

Man, you 'Mericuns are lucky you can get raw milk. It's illegal here

Do not allow yourself to become wrapped up in a food 'lifestyle'. That is ego, and you are not that.

Make kefir from raw milk. Best of both worlds.

Course raw kefir exists, it's growing on my counter right now. Put kefir grains in raw milk, set at room temperature for 24 hours, voila, raw milk kefir.

I love raw milk kefir. I gave it up when I gave up dairy, but it was fantastic. You can buy or get for free some of the kefir starter "grains" and then brew your own with raw or pasteurized milk right on your counter top. One of my favorites was to make kefir cheese - so good!
Using low lectin/nightshade free primal to control autoimmune arthritis. (And lost 50 lbs along the way )

It's illegal "for human consumption" in many places in the US, however you can buy raw milk from a farmer for feeding to animals- nursing a kitten or a puppy with no mother, for instance. You might want to check that out.
