    Primal Fuel

I hosted a clothing exchange for some of my friends last night, and while I didn't tell anybody that the foods were all one thing or another, here was the spread.

Coconut Shrimp with Coconut Chive Mayo (recipe from this site.)

    Almonds

    Hazelnuts

    Veggie plates

    Aged cheeses

    Olives

Coconut Macaroons dipped in dark Chocolate (made from a gluten-free recipe sight.)

    Lots of wine

And some hummus because one of the guests is vegan.

The guests brought some carby things, flatbread, pita chips, more hummus, but everyone just thought that I put out a really healthy spread and enjoyed not having a bunch of junk food at the party.

Nice @Dagny! I'll have to try to throw a stealth primal party sometime. My close friends know about my diet, though, so they'll probably catch on to it pretty fast.

The clothing exchange idea is awesome too, everyone ended up with new clothes without spending any money.

They were delicious... Sweetened with Agave Nectar. I'll have to invite some Seattle Grokettes next time.

Be careful with that Agave Nectar... I know it sounds like it should be Primal, but you would be better off with honey or pure maple syrup instead.

However, the rest of the spread sounds great!

Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me."--Ferris Bueller, 1986

I love that idea! I like to have a lot of parties and entertain. Going forward I am going to have to steal some of your ideas!

Some beef (barely cooked) sliced thin with some kind of sauce like a balsamic reduction would be a pretty good addition too.
