Kerrygold Butter and other food treasures

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
Holy Guacamole. I just discovered Kerrygold butter!

I used a little to make my eggs this morning and even the SMELL is so much richer and more divine than the butter I've eaten my entire life.

What has been your favorite new food discovery since switching to PB eating? I'm convinced there are a lot of treasures out there that I haven't discovered yet.

Speaking of eggs, one of the things that changed about my tastes since going primal is that now I love runny yolks. I used to think they were icky. Now my favorite breakfast is eggs over easy. Still working on my flipping technique, though.

Most of the foods I eat are things I already enjoyed before. Big salads. Tons of veg. Meat and fish. I've mostly just eliminated the bad ones. There are a few foods I don't think I would've necessarily tried had I not gone primal:

    Pork rinds with guacamole
    Cauliflower pizza
Dehydrator veggie chips (zucchini, summer squash, kale)
Anything cooked in animal fat. Sweet potatoes in goose fat is heavenly.

I still haven't tried making pemmican. I've been meaning to do it for ages but I don't have a food processor and I'm not too psyched about rendering all the fat either (I can get grass-fed suet easily but no affordable place to buy it already rendered is nearby). So I keep putting it off.
Today I will: Eat food, not poison. Plan for success, not settle for failure. Live my real life, not a virtual one. Move and grow, not sit and die.

I bought it. If I ever make it myself I will spring for the expensive pulverized biltong and buy some tallow. There's no way I will attempt to dry and pulverize the meat myself.

Kerrygold is available at trader joes but I also found it at shoprite though for some reason it was with the gourmet cheeses not with the butters.

Ah, Kerrygold. Available on Supermarket shelves here in the UK. Fantastic yummy stuff it is too. My family get through 3 packs a week, layered under hot steaming veggies every time. It's divine. :-)
