This article has just been published in the guardian paper in the UK. Looks like there is some research going on which is pointing to IF as a good preventative measure for degenerative brain disease - and it alludes to other possible health benefits in the main text of the article. The recommendation seems to be towards 1 or 2 days of 24hr fasting a week.

There's no paper mentioned so I'm not sure how far along the research is but interesting none the less and hopefully it may lead to some properly published research. If anyone knows of any other studies around I'd be interested to know of them.

Typical CW things in the comments section but I think most of those people are probably primarily sugar burners and I certainly wouldn't have relished IF when I was the same pre-primal!
