If your in the UK, co-up's "truly irresistible" vanilla ice cream is lush!
    Ingredients
    Whole milk (44%)
    Whipping cream(34%)
    Demera sugar
    Skimmed milk powder
    Pausterized free range egg
    Sugar
    Vanilla extract
    Vanilla powder

I wasent really impressed with the ingredients for hagen daz or ben and jerrys, most of them have a bunch of nasty stuff in them. And there bleeping exspensive so id exspect better

Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise', I wash my mouth out with chocolate.

Just wanted to add, the Haagen Dazs ice cream with the minimal list of ingredients is specifically "Haagen Dasz Five". It comes in only a limited number of flavors. It's not like ALL HD ice cream is made with only those five ingredients, such as the peanut butter and other flavors that folks mentioned above. I do concur, the Five is some damn good ice cream. I'm very fond of the vanilla, have taken it to several family get-togethers and people have always asked what brand it is, as it's so good. I also really liked the ginger flavor, very subtle and tasty, but according to the HD site here Häagen-Dazs® | Products | Five, it doesn't look like they make this flavor any more.

Yeah, in a week, after weightlifting. I'm more than double your age, remember. Slower metabolism. Your capacity and need for icecream will be at least four times higher than mine. I had a little bit today for flavour and that was plenty, but I was idle and it has been over a week since I went to the gym.

Thanks for sharing. This is the icecream I plan on making with my kids today:

    2 eggs
    1T water
    300ml Cream
    1/2c sugar
    1/2t Vanilla

    1. Separate the eggs, and beat the whites until stiff. Add half the sugar, then keep beating until shiny.
    2. Add the yolks, water and the rest of the sugar, and beat until frothy.
    3. Whip the cream and vanilla in the bowl you will serve the dessert in.
    4. Fold all three mixtures together, then freeze for 2-6 hours. Fold it about half way through.

Thanks for the recipe. I will try following it myself next weekend. What do you mean by folding?

Sorry to say, but I won't touch Häagen Daz anymore--the milk they use is made with milk from cows given bovine growth hormone.

I am pretty sure those hormones are illegal in Germany and Holland.

I wish i could have the occasional ice cream indulgence but i wouldn't be able to keep it occasional! I'd end up having a scoop every night, i know what i'm like! So no ice cream for me for now....

You get it everywhere in the world. The tub I have here says it is made in France.
