epic fail
AND IT WAS DELICIOUS!!
Okay, it was kinda too sweet but it was the chocolatiest one in the box. My husband gave me a dozen for Valentine's day (he didn't order them specifically, they came with the floral arrangement) and I felt obligated to eat one. The rest are for my co-workers. But I just wanted to say it, and ask, do your Significant Others give you candy, and what do you do with it?

you know you could just.... eat one.... every other day.... rather than.... giving away.... a gift.... your loved one.... gave you....
there are alternatives to eating the whole box in one sitting, unbelievably.
I sent my paleo-ish gf an edible arrangement of chocolate covered strawberries and wouldn't be surprised if she housed the whole thing at work, but she probably shared some with co workers or brought some home for her momma.
(I don't have a problem with you giving it away, but you could just be sensible and enjoy one every other night, really won't be the end of the world)
Nope, my husband doesn't give me candy, so I don't have to worry about it. If he brings a piece or two from some event or whatever, I sometimes would eat a piece, and sometimes just let my daughter and my husband to take care of it. I bring treats from work for my folks when we have catered meeting or someone leaves treats in the hub. Usually 1 piece for each, so it is well within the healthy range![]()

Surely not, but I'm paleo enough that I'm over the desire for sweets. I'm happy to give them away, and DH supports that. I sent strawberries to him and I know he'll share them with his co-workers, as we've determined Valentine's Day is really for impressing others. :P
Congrats on the one and pass
I made home made mounds bars this weekend and made the mistake of using pre sweetened coconut...It left me bed ridden all day sunday (mostly) It was as if i was recovering from the worst (or best) drunk of my life...What is that all about?
Scott:
I wonder what with the coconut was sweetened?
Were these coconut flakes in a bag? I found out recently that many brands have their coconut de-fatted to retain a longer shelf-life. SO maybe you ate a major sugar bomb?
Yes and yes I believe...Nearly killed me lol
