These numbers look about right?
29 y/o male, 5'10", 170 pounds, ~16% body fat
I am down 8 pounds over the last month, and I wouldn't mind losing another 5-8 more. But would really like to tone up in the chest/abs.

Looks pretty good. As long as you're feeling good and reaching your goals, it's all good. If you want to get more definition in your chest and abs, do chinups and dips. Weighted is even better if you can do them. Pushups are also great.
