I realize this is an older thread but I'm still deciding on a copper IUD or continuing with just knowing my body's rhythms (fertility awareness method).

Interesting and maybe tmi but when I use the cup, for it to be most effective, I need to place it well centered on the cervix for no leaks. Being able to still use my cup would be necessary; while I've given cloth pads a try, pads just aren't for me and I could never go back to tampons at this point either.
