I just got a portable bike repair kit and a spare tube. Borrowing a bike from a friend and looking forward to driving less and riding more.

On a side note: bikes are really damn expensive. Haven't owned one since i was a kid and man, things sure seem to have changed. Thankfully I have a friend who was happy to lend me one of his for the time being while i give the whole thing a try.

A few more poach pods (for poached eggs) and a Delia mini chopper. Used it to make some guacamole this evening and worked great. I seem to have bad luck with blenders & smoothie makers that just don't work that well. Also one of these with some tasty tea leaves

Helluva lot cheaper than a car though...

Oh most definitely, and a lot more satisfying. One thing i am realizing is that when i am riding to and from the gym i need to leave something in the tank for the ride home. Riding a bike takes a lot more care than driving, and certainly a lot more effort. All in all, I am really enjoying my first foray into cycling for transport.

I just bought six pounds of this stuff : Crio Brü and Crio Beans are Rich in Antioxidants, Minerals and Natural Energy - Healthy Chocolate for Healthy Living

It is a coffee substitute that is basically roasted and ground up cocoa beans but you brew it just like coffee. They have six flavors and I couldn't decide so I bought one of each.

I heard about it from Dr BorkBork (bless her) on the latest coffee wars thread in the nutrition section.

Nothing too exciting, but I bought a crap-ton of nuts (filberts, raw almonds), a quart of shredded coconut, a pint of raw pumpkin seeds, and a giant jar of raw honey... yet all I went to the store for was some canned pumpkin... whoops!
