    The BS Detective has done a blog on fructose, saying Taubes and Lusting are partially correct. He says its all about dose and context (which I think most were aware of anyway). Alan Aragon did a piece as well.


    (I feel like this guy just doesn't like Taubes and is nit-picking).

    Well we kind of figured that 20 grams of fructose a day will only do "moderate" damage to the liver. The problem is that it's quite easy for the average sugar junkie to exceed "moderate" many times over.

    Stabbing conventional wisdom in its face.

    Yeh, I've read it. There seems to be a group of Taubes' bashers. Leigh Peele just recently did a post on insulin and seems to believe it all comes down to calorie deficit but then does a post on the right amount of carbs for each individual, depending on their carb sensitivity.
