    Nightmares!

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
Since starting primal i seem to have quite vivid nightmares each night which i never usually have, i also seem to have a sore throat thats not too bad but lasting a while, also im still very tired

Could the nightmares and sore throat be related to carb flu in any way??

    Thanks

I would like to second this, I usually use nightmares as a signal that I am getting sick, but I seem to be getting more and more lately since switching to Primal. I don't think they are as bad as OP, but they are worse than my normal "what would you do if this happened in your life?" dreams.

I think there is a strong correlation (at least for myself) with blood sugar levels and nightmares. When I track being sick my blood sugar also elevates, and I've found over the past week I'm having a lower and lower tolerance for the higher end of okay blood sugar levels. So maybe this is what they are referring to as the "carb flu" bodies readjusting what they perceive as a "normal" blood sugar range.

Basically, the way I interpret it, is that your sleep is not as sound. Generally, we only remember the dreams if we wake up while dreaming. So, either getting sick, or the change in body functioning can be a culprit.
