    Will not weigh till at least Wednesday.
    61 days binge-free, by the skin of my teeth.


    Leptin Resistance goals:
    - Breakfast w/ 50gm of protein yes, 65
    - Breakfast w/i 30m of rising 45?
    - 5+ hrs between Breakfast and Lunch yes, no lunch
    - 5+ hrs between Lunch and Dinner yes, no lunch
    - no snacking yes
    - exposure to morning sun yes! 48 & windy, but sunny, barefoot in my bath robe
    - darkening the house at sunset yes, but watched TV an hour as usual, dark, though
    - 100% primal diet not quite
    - <50g carb per day yes
    - no PUFA's other than fCLO yes
    - teaspoon of coconut oil if I start fading extra 1.5 TB at bkfst.

    Mg (700mg) -
    D (5000IU) - 6000IU
    HCl - will try 1, one more time, tomorrow if no runs today
    Digestive Enzymes - 1 with bkfst, out of them now. I'll take a few days off, then try the HCl and consider another brand and/or some ox bile
    OOO (4 drops) -
    ACV (1T) -
    Also: organ pills, broth, ferments: raw goat liver
    Dairy-free? no, milk

    B - 4 eggs, 5.5oz sausage, 2.5T coconut oil

    D - leftover lamb, pork, brisket, bit o' BBQ sauce (negligible), 1/3 piece pecan pie, the crust from my cooling milk (for making yogurt), wanted more, but had two bites of sausage and that satiated enough I was completely done. Sausage is magic.

    - energy /610.
    - bloating = bleh
    - skin =
    - 8+ hours, feel pretty decent despite yesterday
    - sleepy mid-afternoon, but not overwhelming

    This is the first year in two decades I haven't lusted for stollen for Christmas (and, the last five years since it started appearing in lots of stores in the US, bought one, ate most of it before Christmas, and had to buy another). In fact, I forgot about it altogether until the day after Christmas, and the thought of it kinda makes me ... ill.

    VICTORY!

    Changing not only what I eat, but what I WANT to eat. Change from the inside out is so much more effective than white-knuckling it.

    - bloating = 4mo in the morning, 5 at night.
    - skin =
    - 8.5hrs, very sleepy, had many exhausting dreams I couldn't tell whether they were dreams or reality, and had to force myself out of bed at 8.
    - serious stomach pains around 2pm that made me think elimination was coming, but it didn't. Like a lesser version of what happened two days ago
    - pina + yog gave me a headache for most of the rest of the evening, spinning head. Checked b.s. an hour or so later, 115.

    Well, it leaves a good bit to be desired, but is so much better than the past!

    Week 4, Day 1 again, for the 9 chips last night.
    BBT - thermometer's batteries are dead
    147. :P No drop from last night's 147, either, REALLY weird.
    63 days binge-free, but feeling less control.


    Leptin Resistance goals:
    - Breakfast w/ 50gm of protein yes, 70+. Tried more to get a grip on the cravings that aren't disappearing.
    - Breakfast w/i 30m of rising No, dang it, 60+, even though I got up after 7hrs just to get sun & food at 8. Stupid me, self-sabotaging.
    - 5+ hrs between Breakfast and Lunch yes, no lunch
    - 5+ hrs between Lunch and Dinner yes, no lunch
    - no snacking yes
    - exposure to morning sun yes! 33 & barefoot, with a coat over my clothes. Clear & beautiful @ 9:30am.
    - darkening the house at sunset yes
    - 100% primal diet yes
    - <50g carb per day probably
    - no PUFA's other than fCLO yes
    - teaspoon of coconut oil if I start fading extra 1.5 TB at bkfst.

    Mg (700mg) - rounded teaspoon, no gi effects, so yay
    D (5000IU) -
    HCl - 1 at breakfast, no gi effects, so boo! Why would I be below max again??

    D - yogurt cream (not as good as I remembered it), small portions of green beans, pernil, (cooked, miniscule amt of apple) sauerkraut, salad. Small piece of cornbread (no wheat, but sorghum and sugar, bleh), butter.

    Results
    - energy 5/10
    - bloating = 5mo in the morning, 6mo evening. Insane. Gotta be dairy increasing this. I WANT MY YOGURT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    - skin =
    - 7hrs, many exhausting dreams. 1.5hr nap later on.

    Head is spinning after the tiny bite of larabar and cup of 9hr-fermented yogurt cream.

    Weird. I have a tiny bit of neck discomfort and some pain radiating from neck across my deltoid area to shoulder. Seems like a mild version of what I felt some time last week. I have no doubt it's from either the yogurt or the tiny tiny amount of dates & cashews this morning. But what? Why? When it gets intense like it did last week, it feels like I'm fearing a heart attack or somethign ridiculous.

    Some notes for myself:

    - try 1/2t real salt in 8oz water and see if it tastes salty. If not, adrenals need more support.
    - try salted water + vit C around lunch time for afternoon sluggishness

    Dairy-free? STEP AWAY FROM THE DAIRY. Yes, did it! No dairy.

    B - 4 eggs, 5.5oz sausage, 2.5T coconut oil (no runs yesterday, but serious pain mid-day)

    D - 2 small slices dried pineapple, 1/3 of a bratwurst, something else small & primal I can't remember. Wasn't very hungry. Just now a bit hungry at 11:20pm, and can easily ignore it for the night. Passed up many temptations. Oh yeah, what I forgot was one fermented watermelon rind and the juice from the jar.

    Results
    - energy 5/10, kind of roller coaster-y, actually
    - bloating = 4mo morning? Definitely down from last night. I don't know how to get rid of it altogether, but there's no doubt the dairy is making it worse. I don't need milk or cheese; but I really love my homemade yogurt & Kerrygold butter! Bye bye butter (for now).
    - skin = kinda rough
    - 8 very broken up hours (late to bed, sick son, couldn't get back to sleep).

    More notes for today... I took the salt in water followed by Mg and did feel better, but I don't know whether it was the salt water, the Mg, or the Mg flow afterward.

    I'm feeling a lot more confidant about withstanding the last of the holiday derailment parties - one birthday party and two NYE parties tomorrow; I think I'm ready!!

    I am so MAD this morning. Gained another pound, even though all I ate yesterday was BAB + 1/3 brat, piece of ferment, and slice of pineapple. I don't care about patience right now; I'm just MAD.

    WHAT THE FRAKKKKK??????? 3 cups of dairy in a week does NOT equal 3 pounds!!
