    Results
    - energy 6/10?
    - bloat - forgot to pay attention int he morning. 2/10 at night.
    - skin still slightly scratchy
    - slept 8hrs
    - weird - one hamstring and later, both quads hurt tonight almost like I exercised hard with them. I did nothing of the sort.

    Forgot to mention that I had honey urine Sun, Mon, & even Tue morning. Usually I only have it the morning after a big, big sweet indulgence, which obviously did not happen at all, and only a reasonable portion Sat & Sun. I've never had it last over to a following morning like Tue. Slightly concerning.

    Ordered the GI Effects test today. Hoping to learn something useful!

    Aila - let's see, all of them? Okay,
    - no desire to snack. Check
    - no desire to eat sweets. Check 98% of the time
    - no overeating. Check.
    - Natural decrease in appetite, without effort. Check.
    - Increased energy. It's coming. Slowly & steadily. Too slow for my preference, but I'll live with the waiting!
    - STeadier mood. Check. Still room for improvement.
    - Better sleep. At night, yes. Still not waking up refreshed. Cannot wait for this one!
    - Increase in sweating with light activity - I don't know if I'll ever get this one. I feel I sweat reasonably.
    - Smoother skin - had it, but went away when I stopped fCLO for a month, waiting for it to return.
    - Cortisol high in the morning and low at night - not even close! (My next test to order is the 24hr salivary cortisol test.)

    I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but brain fog is one of my issues.

    Ugh. I had a mild case of "body & mind feeling twitchy" last night, but managed to get to sleep without *too* much delay. But I woke up around 5:30 this morning and can't get back to sleep, but feel too tired to do anything but sit, propped up. I do NOT function on 5.5hrs of sleep. Ugh! Ugh!

    BBT - WEIRD. 96.6 when I went to sleep at 9am, 98.1 at 11:30am.

    - exposure to morning sun negligible
    - 100% primal diet yes
    - <50g carb per day yes, much less

    - energy 3/10 - sleepy alternating with grumpy alternating with dead fatigued alternating with decent energy at night
    - bloat - 3/10 (very bad), really felt like a brick was hanging off my belly, ???at night
    - skin still slightly scratchy
    - slept 5.5hrs + 2hr nap. sleepy again late afternoon, but not able to get sleepy enough to sleep.
    - crapppy mood this morning
    - surprised I was hungry only 4-5hrs after my noon breakfast. I was tempted to have the treats at our final homeschool co-op today. Didn't succomb, but it did make me nervous about my chances at a Christmas party tomorrow.

    I will try to stay accountable tomorrow!

    D - loads of fizzy water w/ lime, spinach salad, 2-3 cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, bit of brie, toppings off pizza (fig, proscuitto, parmesan?), grapefruit, BBQ pork, andouille, shrooms, coco curry chicken, wee bit of rice, bit of carrots & other veggies, beef w/ chimichurri, steak fries (probably half a potato's worth?), some white sauce.

    several cups of peppermint & green tea

    Results
    - energy decent - 6/10?
    - bloat 7/10 morning. So confused about the improvement. 5/10 as the day went on
    - skin still slightly scratchy
    - slept VERY interrupted. ToddlerGrok was kicking me and twistingand moaning every five minutes for close to two hours. I think some detox got through to her through nursing. She also had a good bit of wheat yesterday, so that's also a possibility.
    - felt a little bit of poisonous mood this morning, but nothing like yesterday

    Okay, last night. I felt cruddy again late afternoon, then better as I had an evening at home to myself to get some online shopping done in the quiet! Wasn't able to get to sleep for a long while, and then a stomach ache started. Not like the normal "You're about to evacuate something I don't like, and fast!" one, but a real, dull but strong pain. Up high. Then it moved lower. Then I fell asleep. Before that, the mind & body restlessness was present a bit, an dmy mood was sour. I suspected something would move inthe night, although I've had this a few times where it does not.

    In the morning, bloating was better than in three weeks, and I was down over a pound from every day of the last week. Still some more bloating to go, but much better.

    This is so very mysterious.

    Most measurements are slightly up from last week, except thigh is a little down. Weird. I gained fat or water, but weigh 1/4lb less than last week? Weird.

    Continued elimination this morning, and lots of bumps in the jaw hinge area of my cheek mucosa. Nose a bit red. I think there's some serious detoxing going on. Thinking about throwing some e's on top o fit ...

    Alright, tonight is the big Christmas party that I have always LOVED because of the incredible catered food. I'm going in reminding myself that no longer do I find mass-produced desserts tasty. The only way I'll have one is if there is a cheesecake, or something similar, that has no wheat (obviously I can skip the crust) and that DaddyGrok first confirms is actually delicious. I'll have to prep him ahead of time so that he tells me the truth. If I think he's just saying it's not that great so I won't eat it, I'll eat it anyway. I know me all too well.

    Wish me luck! Pray for me! This could be the difference between continued momentum or not! I'm 6 weeks in!!

    I made it through a festive retirement party and a nice business luncheon this past week, consuming nothing but water and tea, respectively, during the event. Made sure to eat a healthy, hearty meal before both events. I keep telling myself that the same determination I've applied to other areas of my life is now fully concentrated on my health and nutrition.

    May Daddy Grok tell you the truth, about only the most delicious and homemade cheesecake.

    Sounds like two great successes for you this week. AT any rate, no matter what else happens this winter, I think we can safely assume that I will not be gaining the usual holiday 5-7. I need to keep reminding myself that even staying the same is an unprecedented victory!

    Party: success! There wasn't much meat available in the hors d'oeuvres style setup, and everything was mixed with a grain. I took the toppings off the flatbread, ordered my fusion mac 'n' cheese "with all the meat toppings, minus the mac 'n' cheese," skipped as much of the rice in the curry as I could avoid, left fries on my plate, and then went back for more steak ("Hold the fries!") when I was done and still looking to eat. They brought out the gourmet waffle bar and I passed. A momentary temptation - very momentary.

    Yippee! I did have lots of things I haven't had lately - raw veggies, fruit, dairy, tiny bit of rice, potato ... but mostly to avoid being so hungry I couldn't resist the dessert.
