I'm getting a little bored with olive oil, lemon, garlic, and balsamic. What is your guys' favorite go to dressing? I should probably try a caesar dressing as I do like thicker, creamier dressings.

I almost always use ACV & EVOO. Sometimes mac oil, avo, or hazelnut oil. I haven't gotten bored yet.

I'm lazy, just balsamic and olive oil here. Quick, easy and tasty.

Where do you get your mac oil? I think I will go with amazon as the stores around here are crazy expensive with this stuff.

lately when i have salads, i've been going dressing free. i just put things on the salad that are juicier tidbits and help counter the earthy feel and taste of the greens. try throwing on meat, olives, roasted red peppers, banana peppers, avocado, tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, more meat, more olives, cheese...

You could vary up the acid with different wine or sherry vinegars.

For casear, I use this. I use olive oil instead of peanut oil. Why anyone would use peanut in the first place is beyond me. If you don't do dairy, it's just fine without the parmesan.

I make easy, awesome creamy dressing.....equal parts sour cream, yoghurt ( danish is good because it's tart), and mayo..add garlic powder or crushed garlic to taste, sea salt to taste, and powdered mustard. This is the base. Add bleu cheese, feta cheese, dill and herbs, whatever...this is thick, and will also make a great dip! obviously, I eat dairy, but only mostly only this dressing, and a little cheese, and cream in my tea.

I pretty much use only olive oil.

People say I am on a "crazy" diet. What is so crazy about eating veggies, fruits, seafood and organ meats? Just because I don't eat whole wheat and processed food doesn't make my diet "crazy". Maybe everyone else with a SAD are the "crazy" ones for putting that junk in their system.

    "Italian" vinaigrette
-3 parts garlic olive oil (or 3 parts olive oil and 1 part pureed raw garlic)
-1 part red wine garlic vinegar
-rosemary, oregano, basil, pepper, red chili flakes, and other Italian spices to taste

    Lazy creamy dressing
Yogurt, lime juice, virgin coconut oil, and dill. All to taste (mine's roughly a cup of yogurt, a small lime of juice, a tbsp of coconut oil for the flavor, and 3 or 4 dashes of dill.)
