    Mick Jagger's diet

I'm a huge Rolling Stones aficionado, so I was wondering the other day what kind of diet these guys have. Obviously Keith Richards has one foot (if not a foot and a half) in the grave, but Mick on the other hand seems extremely fit and spry for his age. Well, I just happened to read online that Mick's personal nutritionist has him on a high whole grain, low fat diet. I was like WTF! Nonetheless I was disappointed, but not surprised, to read this. Any thoughts as to how this man has so much vigor on the brink of pushing 70 while maintaining a diet opposite that of Grok's?

    Thanks!

I don't know, he looks pretty weak and frail to me.

Combine Mick's diet with Ozzy's diet (rum, sleeping pills, and oxycontin) and you'd never die! You'd just be brain dead and chemically preserved...

    + 100

I'm banking that the "Moves Like Jagger" inspiration is going to be in Ozzy's footsteps soon if he isn't already.

Did you see those videos of Michael Jackson's last days? He was dancing like a fool while in rehearsals only to go home and be medicated to a comatose state.

BTW... he looks horrible in my opinion. In all the recent pics you can see the grayish pallor around the edges of his tan makeup.
I honestly figure he'll drop off before Keith Richards... probably because KR is so well preserved chemically. Bleh.

My grandfather looked better on his 85th B'day.. and generally there is a lot of decline between 70 and 80.

And that's why I'm here eating HFLC Primal/Paleo.

I don't think anybody here is claiming that a primal/paleo diet is the only path to a long, healthy life. If they are, they're wrong. We're not here to say "if you eat low fat and grains you'll get cancer and die", (like many vegans do with meat), we're here to say it is the best path for people. Sure, you can live to 70 and look good eating something. Humans are adaptable some have good enough genes that they can handle anything. But how much better would they feel, look, and live had they stuck to a natural diet in line with our evolution?
