What to do... crock pot question

    Primal Fuel
I put a 2.5 lbs bison rump roast with some root veggies into my newly acquired crock pot this afternoon.

I programmed it for 7 hours cooking time - not thinking - it will be ready at about 11pm.

Problem is, I want to go to bed now

What to do? Turn it off and put it in the fridge? Or leave it on, add some cooking time and have it keep warm for like, 6 hours till I get up in the AM?

    Thx!

My crock pot has keep warm, low and high
I would turn it down to keep warm....it should still keep it safe and tasty
Eating primal is not a diet, it is a way of life.

    Thx Dirlot.

I think I will let it cook until time's up and it will automatically keep it warm til breakfast for me.

Yeah, you wouldn't want to put something that hot into the fridge.

That's another good point, lol. I really need to go sleepy as my thinking is obviously not the clearest anymore :-)
