Is there a difference in the way of eating when one is trying to lose weight versus simply maintaining his/her weight?

For me it΄s just about the amount of food/calories. Also, when I΄m trying to lose weight I control the carbs much more so as not to get hungry.

I don't make any changes at all, but I don't limit calories. My body just stopped dropping fat when I got to 11% bf
