Hey! Glad to hear we're all back up and running! Looks like you've been quite meticulous about keeping good notes. I haven't been as good on notes but I've been extremely good on what I've been eating. Discovered an issue with me and coffee but I'll elaborate on that on my own board. (Yes I'm making you come over and read as soon as I post )

I'm just going to cut it for now and monitor the changes. I think this could be a big one for me because I'm a huge tea person. (Switching to the childhood favourate- camomile.)

    Liar! Americans is always right!!!
On the other hand, Endeavour and a few others do legitimately have "u"s in the naiad world, so I may not be the best example.
I can't believe I missed yours, Pam! I'll start keeping up here as well.

Hi Pam, have just ha a read through your journal - as you have been kind enough to comment on mine I thought I would return the compliment. It does feel as though you are talking to yourself sometimes, mine went for ages without a comment until you came along!

On the grass fed beef front, a guide to remember is that marbling means grain fed - it is marbled with fat and you only get fat on grain fed beasts. I used to 'grow' 'em so I do know how to pick it. I'm lucky, I buy mine at a wholesale butcher nearby, $6.50 p/kg for a whole rump.

    Lopi-
Even if you do gain, so what? Do you feel better? Do your clothes fit better or looser? I'd say those are acceptable marks of something gonig right.
As to the day o 'food not playing well, we ALL have those. Yes, even those of us who seemingly make gourmet meals everyday. My solution to my food telling me to go to hell is simple: fruit and whipped heaven*. Enough of that, plus or minus nuts soothes most cravings, especially ice cream ones if you semi freeze it. If that much decadence seems too much and your really should eat a "real" meal, there's primal spring rolls: shredded veggies, shredded zuke, shredded leftover meat, rolled up in a lettuce leaf that has been deribbed. Dip it in yogurt or balsamic vinaigrette.
If you need a fellow bitcher... You've come to the right place. Welcome home.

Whipped Heaven: 1 part mascarpone, 2 parts heavy cream, a tetch of vanilla extract and/ or cocoa powder and/ or mint. Whisk to stiff peaks.

That's amazing! Especially the inches! I've been meaning to take my measurements, but have been too lazy to figure out what exact spot I should be inspecting repeatedly and when I'll get a cloth tape measure.

Good on getting rid of the clay. I've never taken it but I read things about it being questionable: Bentonite Clay in Not Good to Use
