    Losing muscle as we age

    Primal Fuel
I found an awesome study this weekend regarding muscle loss as we age. Here is a link to the post I created regarding the research: Sarcopenia - Are we Doomed to Age-Related Muscle Loss?

And below are some of the compelling images directly from the study.

Thanks for that. I have been thinking about it recently (just turned 41) and it didn't make sense that regardless of how much training I did that I was just going to waste away. I plan on training until they have to carry my corpse out of the squat rack.
People too weak to follow their own dreams will always try to discourage others.

Glad my hard work and time are not wasted. I too just turned 41, and I feel like I am in the best shape of my life.

That visual is now burned into my brain and will keep me going to the gym for a long time.

Cool pictures. Really hammers home the "Use it or lose it" saying.

We're in our fifties and working to keep muscle and develop more! Besides, I don't want my husband to get that old-man no-ass look since I like his tushie.
