hi friends. i've been sneaking around this forum for a few months now. though i have been avoiding grains for a half year and processed foods for even longer, i tend to go overboard with fruit, nuts, and dairy and have finally realized that to actually shed a bit of body fat (i don't have much to lose) i need to dial my carbs back. so my question is...am i doing this right? i have been counting calories for years, and it is difficult for me to rationalize, for example, adding butter to my food...and it is even harder to 'unlearn' counting calories. i also worry about my protein intake. this is what i have eaten in the last few days, and would appreciate any feedback. thanks so much!

B: 2 eggs, 1 tomato, 2 cups spinach, and feta cheese sauteed in olive oil
L: beef curry with spinach, broccoli, zuchinni, full fat coconut milk. 2 tbs natural peanut butter (i know i need to quit this, but needed something that tasted like dessert)
D: finished the other half of the curry. 1 cup raspberries with heavy cream.

B: chai tea with heavy cream
L: salad with tomatoes, onion, spinach, beef, and evoo. coffee with heavy cream, 10 raspberries.
